Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

1 ReplyRank 2 = Quest for class-specific legendary weapon Rank 3 = Quest for class-specific exotic weapon Rank 5 = Quest for exotic handgun The First Curse Beyond that is anyone's guess at this point. But I'd say that's plenty of reasons right there.

Rank 3 gives a quest for class exclusive exotic weapons such as a exotic auto rifle for Titans, exotic hand cannon for hunters, and exotic scout rifle for warlocks The exclusive exotic auto rifle for Titans cannot be equipped on warlocks or hunters. The same thing goes for ALL the weapons mentioned above.

2 RepliesEdited by Tomato Gravy: 10/9/2015 9:23:48 PMYeah....plenty of reasons. You get good weapons sometimes from rank up packages. I got a 299 hand cannon from my last rank up. Also whatever rank you are means you get to choose from that many different rolls on the weapons you order on armsday. So if you were rank 3, you would get 3 choices of rolls & sometimes elements on your ordered weapons. Also ranking up the gunsmith is the only way to get the class specific weapons......the quest for the class specific legendary comes at rank 2 & exotic at rank 3.

3 RepliesClass legendary specials at rank 2 Exotics at rank 3 BTW you'll want to follow this: Hunters save rare handcannons and snipers. Warlocks save rare scout and fusion rifles Titans save rare auto rifles and shotguns. It'll save you time in the long run.

At rank 3 each subclass gets a quest for an exotic weapon, probably the easiest exotics you'll have to attain. Ace of Spades is pretty nice, Fabian Strategy needs some work and the Tlaloc is actually a really good scout rifle. Plus he drops decent weapons as you ranks up, I have gotten level 300 weapons from him.

1 ReplyYou can order as many guns per week as your rank (up to rank 5, obviously). And at rank 2 you get easy quest for very good class specific legendary, and rank 3 you get easy quest for class specific exotic. The Hunter handcannon is fantastic PvE gun (think exotic fatebringer), and warlock exotic scout is hands down best PvP gun in the game. So, yes.

2 RepliesFor ever level you are, you get that many options between gun choices when picking up your order. I hit RANK 3 before picking up my week 1 pulse rifles, and had 3 different options for each. Also, you get a class specific legendary special weapon quest at lvl 2 and class specific exotic primary weapon quest at lvl 3.

At rank 2 you get a class-specific special item quest. At 3 it's a class specific primary exotic quest. At 5 it's the First Curse exotic handcannon

I'm rank 2 when I got to rank 2 I was given a legendary shotgun quest. That's the only difference between the rank more chances getting better items along with foundry orders

1 ReplyNo one's mentioning this, lol. The more you rank up the more choices in perks on the foundry guns you can pick up on armsday. Don't like the first roll? Check out the second option at rank 2. Don't like either of those? Check the third option at rank 3. And so on. Etc.
