The fight should end when the boss is killed not when all the adds and the boss are killed. There is no time left to kill the adds. You guys at Bungie owe me a Black Spindle since I killed the boss twice with no time kill the adds.

I have 45 seconds max when I kill the boss. I'm the only one doing damage to the boss

Use supers snipers and rockets to your advantage you should be dealing with the adds and dealing damage to the boss. Golden gun with celestial nighthawk on boss nightstalker or titan feeding orbs storm caller or sunbreaker to deal with ads. Have to deal with ads and deal damage to the boss at the same time. Also make sure to take down the black orbs to reduce ads.

Every time I get to the fight. I am only doing damage to the boss and while the others are getting rid the adds and "bubbles" that spawn them, it just doesn't work

You have to have more than one person damaging the boss the two guys taking add duty also have to help out a little. Celestial nighthawk is your friend or sunbreaker either one. Just because the old supers are old doesn't mean they're not useful. Just like oryx a celestial nighthawk can one shot the night after you take his immunity bubble. Storm caller and nightstalker should be feeding each other orbs. Hell we did it with two nightstalker and a sunbreaker with 17 seconds to spare the first try.

I've been trying to beat the mission for 5 hours and have killed the boss twice without killing all the adds. I deserve to get the exotic sniper rifle for killing the boss.

Edited by J_Bird77: 9/24/2015 3:22:58 AMDefender Titans and Nightstalkers. Enter the room. Clear the blights. Pop weapons, bow the adds. Burn the boss with LMG. Keep killing the blights. Kill adds by entrance only. Burn the boss until he dies. You should be close to 3 minutes for adds. It's a hard fight, but it's very doable. My Fireteam were all at least 301 light.

Not when your the only one trying to destroy blights and your team can't kill enough adds. I'm light 289 and can deal enogh damage, while my team is above 292 and can't help give me some breathing room
