Stop putting great quest rewards related to being good at the crucible.
Im not good at the crucible. I don't like playing. Why are you forcing me to play crucible. PVE is so much more fun. Unfair.

42 RepliesIt's funny, I hardly ever see PvP players crying they have to do PvE missions to get weapons, you know what they do? They make do and suck it up.

Well if the quest asks you to get gud at crucible then you need to pray to optic nade shot and he will give you year 420 ice breaker

i think pvp quests should have a pve choice but i think should be harder because pve is easier and then have pve quests have a pvp choice so the pvp players can play pvp all they want seems reasonable right?

The best advice to give is 'be patient' it might take you longer than others but you will get there, you will learn. And the reward will be worth it, even if the gun sucks. Just try different approaches. Focus more on surviving, move around the map with teammates. Let the enemy come to you.

My two cents is that it shouldn't be win dependant. Take the faction quests for example. I can be the top scorer on my team, bit I will lose ten matches in a row because my team can understand the concept of "control the rift" or "keep two zones." It's so bad that I will top score in control while holding an average of 1 zone per match and still lose. That's not my skill at fault, that's just bad team dynamics. Add in that I keep getting put into matches that are about to mercy, and there's just no reward beyond a good face shot. Idk how to fix it, because of you just reward completions, you get AFKers and people that make no attempt at objectives. Pvp by nature is really unbalanced compared to pve.

Although I do agree tht they shouldn't force you to be amazing at crucible like the chaperone bounty does I think it is not fair to get an exotic gear tht you should have to do alot in the game from multiple different pieces of it

Dont run around with last word. Equip it once you get heavy and use the heavy to get kills then take it off and deaths while you dont have it equipped wont effect you. Also if your a good sniper it goes by faster. But if you are bad at crucible, you will have a miserable time trying to actually keep a possitve kd for the quest while actually trying to kill with post nerf last word.

I used to post similar anti PvP stuff. I found that if I played a bit more with my friends I could get better. I went from a .25 to .9 before the new maps. I've dropped down some but I now enjoy it, win or lose, good kd or bad, with my buds or with randoms. Only time I get posses is when some lag switch. Just practice a bit more. Me, not too interested in the shortie but the sword would be fun.

We can't always get what we want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need. I can't believe I just quoted a Stones song. Ugh. Also, there are no aspects of this game that are "fair". We do piss poor damage to level 2 adds. Character levels are just a barrier to entry for content. Adds get perks that smash the best fire teams. If the game were "fair" there would be no challenge.

2 RepliesI agree bungie needs to either make the jolly holiday quest easier or make it to where the exotic shotgun drops in PVE. It's unfair to those who arn't good in crucible to have so much trouble getting an exotic, especially while having the last word equipped. Not all of us are good with the stupid thing. Mean while we r getting killed by players who no life crucible like it's their job. Fix it bungie

Edited by Louise Belcher: 9/26/2015 2:51:14 PMok so... if they add an incentive for pvp players; if they add a weapon that pvp players will want; if they make it something that is challenging and rewarding, then it is forcing pve players to do it? your reasoning is flawed. i don't enjoy pvp, so i won't bother chasing whatever carrot on the stick they put in front of me that is pvp based. it is really that simple. the only time i get annoyed is when they give pve rewards for pvp activities - e.g. the best elemental weapons in how came from trials. that was ridiculously dumb considering the ones from pve were complete crap in comparison.
