I found a nice scout rifle (on my titan ) on a cabal strike but of course the field scout doesn't work. Super lame.

My normal clip size is 16, but when I pick the field scout it doesn't increase the clip size.

Field scout does NOT increase clip size anymore - it only increases your carry capacity. It's working the way it should - it was just changed with the last release. Go check any of your old guns with Field Scout.

It works, FIELD SCOUT ADDS RESERVE AMMO. people just don't realize that yet Extended mag is the new "field scout" if you want a bigger mag, but field scout itself isn't useless since it adds reserve ammo

Field Scout used to add both though. Reserve, as well as larger magazine. It got nerfed hard. Not only did they remove the magazine increase but they also reduced the amount of reserve it gave you. It's a pretty mediocre perk now.

Oh ya I'm aware just saying when people say it does nothing it's simply not true, it's just not the best perk in the world anymore :p
