Weapons and abilities are apart of the game kid so get over it. I hate f-uckers who abuse rocket launchers in call of duty, but hey, that's just how it goes. Adapt or die kid. Adapt or die.

Invective doesn't have shot package. Did you corner camp? This thread is about those 2 things. Not all shotguns so please by all means use the damn shotgun idc.

I do not like to camp, but regardless, I do different play styles and try different techniques for different situations. Don't get mad because what you like to do gets thwarted over and over again. Try something new and you just might surprise yourself.

I run and gun, I hate camping. I refuse to wait for someone to come to me. When I snipe I usually wait 5 seconds and go back to finding someone.

That makes 2 of us, but sometimes it might be easier to crouch in a corner. Watch your team, see what they do, how efficient they are, what is the score difference... stuff like that. You can find out in the first 2 minutes of a match how it will probably end up. Check your surroundings in every aspect. Is it a good time to snipe? Is it a good time to run and gun? If so, then what path should I take? Should I be more evasive or gung ho? What is the other team doing? Going for the objectives (in control)?? What is the guy in first place or the other top 3 positions on the other team using and where do I usually encounter them? Constantly think instead of just relying on what you just want to do. It's not what you want to do, but what is best to do if you are looking for a positive k/d. I love when my team wins, but I personally want to do great myself so even if we lose then at least I did well. Sorry for the long reply, just spreading my multiplayer wisdom down to others.

I usually ran with TLW (without the hip fire bull) now since the update I use necrocasm. I normally out gun someone with similar weapons and once in awhile a shotgun.

No matter what, use your head. Before you get irritated, think of another way then another way if that way doesn't work. Good luck out there guardian. Keep your head on a swivel.

I use to have an 0.3 but boosted it to 0.9. Ever since I have 1 good game for every 5.

That is actully one hell of an improvement. I was around .4 then once I learned the maps, enviroments and traffic areas, I started to use them to my advantage. Im at 1.4 all time, but I think that isn't bad for a CQC-only player.

I think I play better than my stats say but I constantly run into those games where people are dominating or campers.

Personally I hate shotguns and snipers. Both guns tend to force how you play. They also bring nothing to the game as a whole. I can die from a gunfight and think "well it was fun anyway". But being one shotted, often without knowing anything about it just isn't fun. I'm sure both take skill but enjoyable games rarely include an abundance of either.

Snipers dont bring anything to the game unless you are good with them, but become irrelevant the moment people avoid them. Shotguns will always be there and be in your face. Fight fire with fire or learn how to keep your distance. Destiny is not the average multiplayer and it is nothing like HALO. it is it's own entity that needs more work and development, but you can bet yout bottom dollar that shotguns will always be there and be super effective.

After many hours of being blasted on the face I am somewhat successful in countering them. Snipers are harder as they tend to pick areas that are hard to flank or have teammates protecting them. I didn't really mean that they don't contribute. Preventing enemies capturing zones or simply picking off large numbers will help the team. But more that there's very little enjoyment in countering shotguns or snipers, even if you win
