Sunbreaker Balancing Solution
EDIT: If you disagree please state why below. I personally feel like the armor when in the sunbreaker super is a bit too high but before you instantly disagree hear me out. I would like to take away some of the bonus armor you get from the super to the point where a medium-high impact sniper ( LDR for example) could 1 shot headshot, but instead of removing the armor entirely we move what was lost to a currently underpowered perk in the sunbreaker skill tree to give the perk more value/give more options while making the sunbreaker not as unstoppable with amazing perks.

2 RepliesDay 1 hunter here: Sunbreaker doesn't need a nerf so please calm down. It seems the only way some so called pvp players judge a class is by the super of the class. Within the Sunbreaker class you do realize there is a host of pve abilities & not a lot of pvp things? The super is by far stronger than every other super of its kind but that's because the class is about that super which will only happen 2-4 times in a match. Nightstalker has gotten a new god-tier pvp skill, the ability to take away enemy radar (smoke bomb), & a super that shuts down supers while killing the one you shut down & suppressing any nearby enemies. Stormcaller is balanced towards good abilities such as it's new sniper-melee, & a good super that is good but able to be countered

This is the class titans desperatly needed. We had very underpowered supers before. Blade dancer was able to use a wave attack have faster melee regen and have health recovery on a super or melee kill. Not to mention void bow can shut down hammer.

3 RepliesI think the thing with sunbreaker is that it is new. I considered bladedancer op back in the early days. However, people know how to counter it now. It think people will figure out how to counter sunbreaker in due time.

Sunbreaker should never be a one sniper shot to the head. It's too easy. Titans have zero evading ability and the hammers aren't hit scan weapons. That would make the class even more worthless in crucible than it already is. Only strong ability the sunbreaker has for pvp is it's super.

One shot golden gun is all. I'm not crying as I've yet to play ttk. Just let Titans have their fun. After all us warlocks and the hunters had theirs for 50 odd weeks. Can't a Titan be the best for once? Btw warlock master race Btw 2 can't wait to be earth tyrannus

So tired of her aimbot lames thinking they should be able to shut down everything. It's a super, it should require effort to shutdown not easily 1 v 1 by non supers or heavies.

Most titans are probably using armour which gives bouns armor when uaig a solar subclass. Maybe thats why its not a one shot? I dont know for sure, I'm just throwing this out.

2 RepliesIf a solution came up that only effected the pvp side if the game I wouldn't mind so much. Let's face it though, if a nerf did come it would be another blanket nerf and kill the class for the pve side of the game. That is what scares me the most actually. I really like the class and I'd hate to see it nerfed into oblivion like a lot of other things in the game.

5 RepliesReal easy solution here ... stop crying. I have ran through most of the crucible quests, playing every mode and I havent been killed by 1 hammer. Rarely see the thing used. Kids just need to stop crying because they suck at PvP. Seriously there are no competitive leader board or ranking system so why all the fuss.

1 ReplyI've been able to snipe sunbreakers in the head and kill them, but others (plenty others) have said they can't. If that is the case then only the armor of the titan should be nerfed to where they can be killed easier. everything is fine by me.

sunbreakers have wefakenesses that are easaly exploited each time on my hunter i see a titan activate super i shoot him with arrow and he becomes suppresed same thing on defender titan i throw grenade at him no more hammers

Dude, you can kill a sunbreaker, it's easy, just snipe them a couple times or shotgun them in the face.

You know after multiple games as or against a Sunbreaker I don't see the huge deal. I'm not seeing a big increase in death ratios or points in game. I will say as a Warlock and Titan since launch that it is nice to get more than one kill per super without just being lucky
