2 RepliesIf you read the book of sorrows, you would like the hive a lot more. How they come up, what they do on a day to day basis and a lot more are explained throughout the book. They weren't always as evil as they are now. They basically got this way due to the fact that they had no other choice. Its a great read and puts a lot of info for the destiny world just like they did with the Vex. I still like the vex the most but would like to see some Cabal shit. I use to hate the hive the most but now they're number 2

Well considering what actually happens during this DLC I don't expect there to be another Hive DLC for quite some time, if ever. I do expect there to be a Cabal one soon considering just how much center stage time they got here, even hints to whomever is giving the orders.

I find give dlc interesting because they're the freakiest enemy so far and threaten human existence like freaks would. I'm interested in cabal and more vex though. Vex will always have interesting stories I think because of time manipulation but the cabal... Woohoo they're an empire, gonna conquer and enslave, cool. Humans have done that plenty so it's not that interesting to me

4 RepliesTaken king is year 2 destiny... Not a "dlc" you would know that if you played it. Also it's not "hive themed" ... It's completely fresh. It's "the taken" .... Besides hive theme is dark and more entertaining then the other races in my opinion. Your post should be edited

4 RepliesThere has only been 1 dlc...just 1. Dark Below setup the Taken king story. How can you be sick of Hive dlcs when only 1. Taken King is an expansion pack not a DLC. The others may have been labeled with a expansion but they were true dlcs. Taken King is aqn expansion with new planet. .in this case ship to visit. Strikes, bosses, balance overhaul, loot system overall, huge changes to the existing game Meta. The dark below added a couple missions and a raid. It was more of a patch than anything else. You have to know the difference between a DLC which stands for download able content and AN expansion pack. Since the TTK had hard disk it's not DLC. The hive have been one of the best enemies to encounter in a game in a very long time.

4 RepliesIf you read the Book of sorrows, Oryx is the top of the Pantheon. The hive are badically his and his sisters spawn from when Oryx was a female. Oryx was the top dog, so we're pretty much done with the hive. Once the cabal and Vex DLC are gone, i'm expecting we fight the worms or the ahamkara

Crota was pretty meh but this dlc is the shit and we just keep discovering more, it's so good I almost forgot it's been hive twice because this was taken not just hive, that being said I don't really want anymore hive dlc for at least a year we need in depth cabal and vex dlc just like what the taken king did pretty much

My favorite enemies are vex then the hive. I like the hive because of their dark magic/mysterious behaviors. Vex are just amazing, and vault of glass really shows that. Hopefully the next dlc is vex, and we get a new vex raid.

2 RepliesEdited by chickengoujohn93: 9/23/2015 1:21:04 AMA Cabal DLC and Raid is too mainstream/familiar to modern shooters. It would be like if Call of Duty had a Raid. They are not really surrounded by the the Darkness and wouldn't have that magical bullshit like Oracles, Oversouls, Oculus etc. A Cabal Raid would be pretty much an all out gun fight with intervals in which you have to insert ghosts into a to computer terminal to destroy the missile launch sequences or prevent the base blowing up lol. Sounds a bit like that last mission in CoD 4: MW
