So, Activision just called me, seriously they did.

He told me that they are well aware of the feedback Destiny is receiving and they are sorry that I'm so dissatisfied with the product. I desired a full refund of the purchase price of the game and both dlc, they weren't authorized to do that. However, they are sending me a sealed copy of Destiny to return to recoup some of my money [i]and[/i] a free copy of another Activision game, which will also be sealed and also can be traded; I chose Advanced Warfare. I advise all players who are truly dissatisfied and disgusted by Bungie and their tactics, to file a complaint with the BBB if you want results. I heard from Activision [i]personally[/i] in less than 24 hours and got immediate results. Spread the word! *Edit* I filled out the complaint on the BBB webs *Edit* The trolls here crack me up. Are you really that upset at me for making Bungie look even worse? I couldn't care less about getting my money back, Accountability to the player from Bungie is long overdue. *Edit* It's astounding how hard these Bungie employees are trying, and failing to discredit me. I'm sorry that you can't accept the fact that I'm telling the truth, but that's on you. Your Activision overlords clearly saw merit in my claim, and that's all that matters to me. So boys and girls, I'm fresh out of troll snacks and will leave you to your ridiculous conspiracy theories. Have fun.

  • This is a conflict for me as to whether I would submit a complaint as I actually enjoy Destiny, but I think the content is overpriced as TTK doesn't seem worth double the cost of the previous DLC no matter how good it is as it's not really larger as the overhaul was free to all players. They've also pretty much outright stated TTK is what the original/standard should have been taking into account the overhauls which changed the entire game so it's as if we paid for a different, less valuable/cheaper game year 1. I also don't like the fact that many things are inaccessible to players who don't buy TTK as usually new DLC offers access to new content but leaves access to older content for those who don't buy it. I own TTK and like some of it so I guess my main concern is too much negative feedback & monetary loss could result in game production cancellation in the future which I wouldn't want to happen as I think this game could be great yet I think people deserve an apology at least for what appears to be false advertising. I'm surprised they gave you a way to get any money back and I'm happy they did as $140 is too much for the content in my opinion not to mention the price they put on the TTK collectors edition digital content as I know it's an optional purchase and it's great they are offering it yet $20 seems crazy as it's not worth $5.
