AMERICA! WE'RE #10?

www.prosperity.com gauges the prosperity of nations on many many factors. The main variables and where america ranks are as follows: Economy
17th
Entrepreneurship and Opportunity
11th
Education
12th
Governance
11th
Health
1st
Safety and Security
31st
Personal Freedom
21st
Social Capital
7th
Here's what each variable entails. As you can see, we are leading in overall health, (and we should, i see a lot of well fed mother -blam!-ers out there) but that is it. The American Dream™ is becoming more of a dream and less of a reality. So, when people get all up in arms when others want to emulate what other countries are doing right, I really have to ask if they have the best interest of everyone in mind. Discuss. Edit: I agree our healthcare system is not #1 and the health ranking isn't measuring that. It's measuring health within the context of prosperity. There's links for a reason.

All of these countries combined make up about 120 million people. What is that, 1/3 of our population? I doubt it's very difficult to make Norway***, a country of 5 million people, a great place. I mean it's only 1.5% of our population
