I don't understand why, if they are so concerned with us being able to "uniquely customize" our characters, Bungie hasn't given us the option of infusing our year one legendary gear. We put so much work into acquiring them, to have all of that time and energy dismissed, it feels like a slap in the face. It also gives us no incentive to even attempt the year one raids and quests again, or for some newer players, for the first time. I know that I would love to have all of that Trials and Iron Banner gear, not to mention the raid gear that I can't bear myself to shard, be valuable. After all, we did devote massive amounts of time and energy into the game only to have it all trashed in a matter of moments once Taken King dropped. I'm not saying that I don't love Destiny any more, it's just a bit frustrating, and a touch heartbreaking, to look at the immense amount of work I had put in thrown out like that....
I know coding and designing takes time, effort, and money, but this is an issue that I think all of us have felt since Sept. 15th. Also, why make the Stranger's Rifle a legendary after all of this time and then not give us the option to infuse it? I mean, technically it wasn't a legendary until year 2... Whew, alright, just needed to get that out of my system...
