It's certainly not the "best," but I have an Omolon scout rifle Cocytus SR4 with Rescue Mag, Single Point Sling and Grenadier. It's the same impact/ROF to The Scholar. I initially wasn't thrilled with the perk rolls, but I've found it to be a very effective workhorse weapon. I just got it as a Gunsmith rank up, so I know that doesn't help. Waiting on my Suros scout rifle to arrive for Armsday.
