It's worth keeping next time you see one. The one I'm bumping has Smallbore and Hammer Forged - which make it all but on-par with a sniper for anything much under level 40. The only thing that could have given it a little more bite would have been Rangefinder as well, but I'm happy with Full Auto just to reduce PvE fatigue. I have yet to be convinced at all by weapons with target specific perks - such as the 'Mutiny' you have there on your TUS.

Edited by whatever: 9/21/2015 3:32:11 PMReally. I didn't think the new scouts were able to get full auto. At least according to the databases I've seen. That's awesome. Edit: on further inspection of the planet destiny database, it seems that full auto is available on the two Suros scouts available from the gunsmith. And those are the only ones

Huh - I did not know that either. I thought it was a fun perk, but did not appreciate it's rarity. I strongly suspect you can fire many of the non-auto scouts much faster than the DIS-43 simply by hammering the trigger...but I think of it as the equivalent of cruise control.

Ya. There are faster firing ones out there but that's always a trade off with impact. There is another Suros scout actually that is faster which can get full auto as well but as far as I can see those are the only two in TTK. You are right about it. Full auto doesn't affect fire rate I scouts but it does remove human error in spacing your trigger pulls (it basically fires as fast as possible if you were to time your shots perfectly). I wasn't a fan of scouts until house of wolves when you could reroll for full auto. This one win me over and the I built a huge collection of almost every one. I learned a quick little trick that helps for shooting them without as well. If u shoot then after every shot u quickly release and rehold the trigger it will shoot again as soon as able. Until u get into high fire rates like the NL shadow, this is a fairly easy way to achieve max fire rate without full auto
