I don't care what fromsoftware says. Theyre all connected. Dark souls degrades into demons souls and demon's souls becomes bloodborne. Obviously centuries pass between each game, but I'm convinced they're the same timeline. Same world.

Marvelous Chester is most likely from bloodborne. Do you guys remember what he stated "a giant hand dragged him there" There's giant hands in bloodborne that grab people dimensionally. In addition his clothes are straight out Compton. I mean bloodborne. :/
-
Will the hand that grabbed him was different and worked differently i.e grabbing through time as opposed to grabbing through dimensions. Also there is a timeline discrepancy between when they worked on abysswalker dlc and started working on bloodborne. So it's hard to say whether he was inspired by bloodborne to put chester in the game or if chester sparked the idea for bloodborne. And Miyazaki isn't and probably never will tell.
-
Well that's to say if the hand has guidelines. But it doesnt. We don't know the extent to the giant hand powers. Hell Chester doesn't even move like a normal npc invader. It very well could have a flash paradox thing going with alternate realities effecting various timelines. Hell don't be suprised if miyazaki starts pulling out hyper cubes and crap lol.

Eh i see what you're saying but i just can't buy it. The hands that grab you in bloodborne are from the amagdalas and the hand from dark souls looks like the hand from whats his nuts in the abyss. Two entirely different hands acting in two different capacities. Also in the theories for the interconnected worlds, the timeline doesn't account for the existence of the old ones yet. But, i suppose, if you put some thought into it, you might be able to come up with a logical theory to connect it as such though. Idk im too tired to think...
-
That'll be damn hard to prove, but possible. Will be much more feasible with the end of the Soul series, possibly.
-
Hard to prove, but i can definitely make a convincing argument. Couple buddies and i spent days linking things together both lore wise and landscape wise between dark souls and demons souls.
-
It would be very hard to prove, with a lot of assumptions connecting the games. (•-• )
-
Oh yes for sure ssumptions. But even in the lore, there are a lot of assumptions. And i think as long as you can logically back it up and it makes sense, (especially since developers are so tight lipped)...

That's the beauty of the games FromSoft has created. :D
