Best scout rifle in TTK?
I love Scouts; it's my thing. But, I don't yet have a legendary or exotic Scout from TTK. I love my Saterine Rapier with firefly; it is awesome but at 170 damage, it's not very fierce. I've got some Scout coming from the gunsmith on arms day, but..... Anybody have any suggestions? And how you picked it up. And perks....
*Edit* Ok. After reading about all of your Scouts and all of your suggestions I'm going to do the following:
Level up the gunsmith to 3.
Do strikes on Mars till I'm sick.
Pledge allegiance to Dead Orbit
*Edit* Wow. Didn't realize there were so many Scout lovers out there. I just assumed hand cannons ruled for most everyone (but me and a small handful of Halo DMR lovers). Thanks for all the info.
*Final Edit* OK. My gunsmith is almost to rank 3 (for Tlaloc). I've pledged allegiance to Dead Orbit and will get my marks tomorrow (for Hung Jury) and I will keep grinding Mars Strikes (for Treads upon stars). Thank you all so much for your recommendations as well as your thoughts; I'm squared away.
That being said, after 1500 plus comments, it's time to let this thread die, let my iPhone rest and get some sleep at night. Seriously, my wife is super pissed that my phone has been making the "ghost" sound 50 times a night. Don't you people need sleep?
OK. Final edit on 8/25/16: Can't believe this came up again. I have been using the Hung Jury (Dead Orbit Scout) for months. It is amazing and at 335 kicks ass. There is nothing better in the game than a single shot to the head, triggering the firefly animation. NOTHING BETTER; prove me wrong.

2 RepliesDo the quest line for Variks(it unlocks after you do Petra's)... You get Gemini which I think is pretty good... Otherwise, Hung Jury from Dead Orbit is good, or check my Warlock for another good one

Last extremity. I have it with the firefly perk and the perk that can refill the mag when you're low on hp. It's a 3 hit in crucible and if they have low armor, 2 head shots and a body shot

Whenever I help people with Golgoroth cp I'm usually soloing the trash hallways. The Chelchis scout from Oryx is beastly too. Edit: Explosive Rounds, not Ned Flanders. Tf is wrong with my autocorrect ._ .

You love Scouts? Hmm, guess I'm not the only one then, but I'm more inclined to use Heavies against the other team. [spoiler]#OutsideRefrence[/spoiler] Anyways, I haven't really gotten into Scouts yet, and I'm up for a little treasure hunt until I get Malice or some other Exotic-type Scout. I'm sticking with my Vanguard AR I got for TTK story.

I highly recommend any Omolon scout rifle with good perks. I just love the way the guns shoo and react.

I have both treads upon stars and hung jury (the DO scout). Stats are very similar but I love the scopes and feel of hung jury. I highly recommend it for a fellow scout user
