Best scout rifle in TTK?
I love Scouts; it's my thing. But, I don't yet have a legendary or exotic Scout from TTK. I love my Saterine Rapier with firefly; it is awesome but at 170 damage, it's not very fierce. I've got some Scout coming from the gunsmith on arms day, but..... Anybody have any suggestions? And how you picked it up. And perks....
*Edit* Ok. After reading about all of your Scouts and all of your suggestions I'm going to do the following:
Level up the gunsmith to 3.
Do strikes on Mars till I'm sick.
Pledge allegiance to Dead Orbit
*Edit* Wow. Didn't realize there were so many Scout lovers out there. I just assumed hand cannons ruled for most everyone (but me and a small handful of Halo DMR lovers). Thanks for all the info.
*Final Edit* OK. My gunsmith is almost to rank 3 (for Tlaloc). I've pledged allegiance to Dead Orbit and will get my marks tomorrow (for Hung Jury) and I will keep grinding Mars Strikes (for Treads upon stars). Thank you all so much for your recommendations as well as your thoughts; I'm squared away.
That being said, after 1500 plus comments, it's time to let this thread die, let my iPhone rest and get some sleep at night. Seriously, my wife is super pissed that my phone has been making the "ghost" sound 50 times a night. Don't you people need sleep?
OK. Final edit on 8/25/16: Can't believe this came up again. I have been using the Hung Jury (Dead Orbit Scout) for months. It is amazing and at 335 kicks ass. There is nothing better in the game than a single shot to the head, triggering the firefly animation. NOTHING BETTER; prove me wrong.

Of course the hung jury is good as well as treads upon stars, another that not too many people mention is Not Like The Others. It's pretty good.

2 RepliesI am just going to put this out there Tlaloc sucks guys. It relys on having a super to be worse Mida, stat wise, it is only worse than my Suros Dis. In pvp it is clearly meant to be a Mida archetype, but the gun is far worse than the mida. The Mida gives speed bonus and hair trigger at all times, and Tlaloc only has equal fire rate and handling with your super. Even then it doesnt handle nearly as well. In pve there is 0 reason to use Tlaloc over my Extremity or Suros-Dis I was super hyped for this gun, but it let me down. It's not complete garbage, and does do well in pvp. It does 61 damage headshots and Mida does 55, so it still takes 4 headshots for a kill, but Mida does it faster, and lets you strafe better. Many sad.

Legendary is hung jury no doubt. Can't wait to try my tlaloc out when I get off work though.

Out of all the ones I've tried so far I'd have to say Hung Jury. Haven't gotten my grubby little mitts on the Tlaloc yet though.

I have the NL Shadow y2 version and it wrecks. I also love the Hung Jury. If I were you, I would just level dead orbit. All the arms day scouts are just worst versions of Hung Jury. Same stats with less impact and mag size, and worse perks.

4 RepliesFor warlocks, the best scout has gotta be tlaloc. It's all around just great for killing stuff. For the other classes, hung jury from dead orbit is your best bet. I love scouts!!!
