Best scout rifle in TTK?
I love Scouts; it's my thing. But, I don't yet have a legendary or exotic Scout from TTK. I love my Saterine Rapier with firefly; it is awesome but at 170 damage, it's not very fierce. I've got some Scout coming from the gunsmith on arms day, but..... Anybody have any suggestions? And how you picked it up. And perks....
*Edit* Ok. After reading about all of your Scouts and all of your suggestions I'm going to do the following:
Level up the gunsmith to 3.
Do strikes on Mars till I'm sick.
Pledge allegiance to Dead Orbit
*Edit* Wow. Didn't realize there were so many Scout lovers out there. I just assumed hand cannons ruled for most everyone (but me and a small handful of Halo DMR lovers). Thanks for all the info.
*Final Edit* OK. My gunsmith is almost to rank 3 (for Tlaloc). I've pledged allegiance to Dead Orbit and will get my marks tomorrow (for Hung Jury) and I will keep grinding Mars Strikes (for Treads upon stars). Thank you all so much for your recommendations as well as your thoughts; I'm squared away.
That being said, after 1500 plus comments, it's time to let this thread die, let my iPhone rest and get some sleep at night. Seriously, my wife is super pissed that my phone has been making the "ghost" sound 50 times a night. Don't you people need sleep?
OK. Final edit on 8/25/16: Can't believe this came up again. I have been using the Hung Jury (Dead Orbit Scout) for months. It is amazing and at 335 kicks ass. There is nothing better in the game than a single shot to the head, triggering the firefly animation. NOTHING BETTER; prove me wrong.

6 RepliesTreads Upon Stars hands down. Almost the exact same stats as Vision of Confluence, a little less stability and 3 less rounds in the mag. With the right roll though it can be just as powerful. I love mine and use it all the time in PvE.

Not like the others from the vanguard is pretty good. It's the only decent primary I've had drop so far though. So, my opinion is based on lack of weapons to use....

Touch of malice is awesome, melts everything with the double damage on last round plus infinite last roumd... only downside is that you can kill yourself with it...

I love the hung jury from dead orbit. I've gotten three of them so far with different sets of perks but it's great. I'm getting the suros one from the arms day and am going to buy the vangaurd vendor one at some point. If you finish the taken war quest and wolves quest you get the boolean Gemini scout which is an exotic.

Last extremity is what I have. I love it. Sounds cool too. Perks make it do bonus damage when enemies are close together and consecutive precision shots add rounds to the mag. So basically it is a slow shooting/high damage scout that can have like 20 bullets per clip if you hit precision shots. It's awesome.

I got my first scout rifle today. It got given after a quest as a primary weapon upgrade.... It's pretty good
