Best scout rifle in TTK?
I love Scouts; it's my thing. But, I don't yet have a legendary or exotic Scout from TTK. I love my Saterine Rapier with firefly; it is awesome but at 170 damage, it's not very fierce. I've got some Scout coming from the gunsmith on arms day, but..... Anybody have any suggestions? And how you picked it up. And perks....
*Edit* Ok. After reading about all of your Scouts and all of your suggestions I'm going to do the following:
Level up the gunsmith to 3.
Do strikes on Mars till I'm sick.
Pledge allegiance to Dead Orbit
*Edit* Wow. Didn't realize there were so many Scout lovers out there. I just assumed hand cannons ruled for most everyone (but me and a small handful of Halo DMR lovers). Thanks for all the info.
*Final Edit* OK. My gunsmith is almost to rank 3 (for Tlaloc). I've pledged allegiance to Dead Orbit and will get my marks tomorrow (for Hung Jury) and I will keep grinding Mars Strikes (for Treads upon stars). Thank you all so much for your recommendations as well as your thoughts; I'm squared away.
That being said, after 1500 plus comments, it's time to let this thread die, let my iPhone rest and get some sleep at night. Seriously, my wife is super pissed that my phone has been making the "ghost" sound 50 times a night. Don't you people need sleep?
OK. Final edit on 8/25/16: Can't believe this came up again. I have been using the Hung Jury (Dead Orbit Scout) for months. It is amazing and at 335 kicks ass. There is nothing better in the game than a single shot to the head, triggering the firefly animation. NOTHING BETTER; prove me wrong.

Hung Jury SR4 is a beast, feels like a vision without the full auto. I have mine with triple tqap and firefly.

Treads Upon Stars does a very reliable amount of damage, and has just the right amount of magazine size.

The one you've got coming from armsday is really good. Same rate of fire/impact as the dead orbit one with a larger magazine

Check my titan and hunter. Scouts are bae lol. I got them from an exotic engram/dead orbit rank up.

I got the Boolean Gemini last night it's awesome! It will replace my Trusty Mida! The new Vanguard Scout Rifle is pretty decent as well. I love the my Scout Rifles too. I am waiting for one from the Gunsmith too. I am really curious to see what it is!

Out of the ones I have used I like the Boolean Gemini. It's just very smooth and on the mark. Plus the body armor perk that stacks 3 times is really nice. I have yet to use the Tlaloc or whatever so my opinion might change.

I personally prefer the boolean Gemini over the jade rabbit. It just feels better. Easy quest reward from finishing the variks/petra wolves line. Maybe I just have a soft spot for it because it was my first TTK exotic but I think I might actually love that scout. :)

I have a hung jury with firefly, I honestly feel it's not as effective at clearing adds as my Suros-based pulse rifle...maybe I just need to Adjust to it?
