Exotic sword quest
I picked the void edge. So I need relic iron materials from mars to complete it.
Keep this going for others to see the requirements and get the help they need.
Edit- Keep up the questions and answers guys!
Edit 2- the method I used for the ability kills. Siege of the warmind mission. Bring a defender titan that can make orbs when he uses melee, so you have a super ready after your first super. Then just trade orbs for each other.
It may have worked better for me since I'm a Nightstalkers doing the void edge. But all in all it took about 1-1 and a half hours to do.

8 RepliesTo get the quest, you Need to infuse it to 285+ and have all the perks max. Then you will get a quest to kill 50 major (go to the cosmodrone and farm by the subway) using sword and 25 kills with a sword in crucible (I've beaten people with a no blade sword multiple times for this part, hilarious) . After This step, you go kill escathor, which you get there by going towards the mausoleum and then into the founts and fall in the open dungeons. You will see 3 wardens hallow knights. Kill all red bar enemy but them. Damage then to a sliver of health left. Hunter: use golden gun with 4 shots, warlock use either radiance or stormcaller, and titan hammer them. Kill all 3 using a single super to kill them. The door will open and you will see escathor. Kill all the enemy and curse thrall. He will have a shield that can be destroy only by a sword then anything Can hurt him but his shield will regenerate so you redamage him with the sword. Afterward IS The tricky part, collecting material. You need 10 special material which drops randomly so Good luck. No, it does not drop in chest. After This, you will get it on arms day

if you are a voidwalker then you can do the thrallway in crota's end strike with ur nova bomb, works especially good if you have obsidian mind.

Does anyone know the difference between "A Sword Reforged" and "A Sword Reforged (Exotic)" ? I'm confused. Are they just chained quests, or do you one one or the other. I seem to have the first one after maxxing my sword.
