Exotic Armor Review: The Impossible Machines -Lightning DOES Strike Twice

Edit: Credit to my wife for testing these gloves so thoroughly. I personally didn't think they would be better than the Stag, but I'm glad to see that i was wrong :P Warlocks seem to love wearing elements on their arms. First, there was fire. Then, there was void. Now, they've gone and wrapped a superconductor around each wrist and have lightning crackling around their knuckles. It's like they WANT you to know which type of Warlock they are. Either way, don't fuk with them. Meet the Impossible Machines, the Stormcaller's best friend. These little lightningrods may not look very impressive at first, but they're certainly deadly. Aesthetically, they manage to do the same thing that 2 of the 3 other warlock gauntlets have managed to do: make you look pretty badass. I mean, who WOULDN'T want to have lightning crackling around their arms? These gloves come well-stocked with some of the best perks for a warlock. You have a choice between Snap Discharge for a faster melee strike, or Impact Induction for grenade regeneration. You also get a choice of faster Pulse Rifle reload or Fusion Rifle reload (for those of you who dont want to set your Susanoo down). They also have a Strength and a Discipline buff, but personally, I would stick to the Discipline buff and let Feedback take care of my melee attack (my Warlock is a masochist...) The exotic perk for these gloves is an absolute powerhouse. It provides Landfall for your Stormtrance, which basically gives you a mini Fist of Havoc upon activating your super. Not impressive enough? Well, Landfall also has the ability to blind those enemies unlucky enough to survive the blast for about 3 seconds, giving you plenty of time to weaken or kill any enemies still left alive near your Sith Lord. Pairing Landfall with Ionic Blink turns your Stormtrance into a brutally effective hellstorm- literally a blindingly fast shock trooper. Death is pretty much inevitable for any enemy caught within your Stormtrance. Glide over a group of enemies and drop Landfall on their heads right after a Nightstalker debuffs them with Shadowshot, and nothing short of a heavy tier-2 enemy or a boss will survive your onslaught as you scream "UNLIMITED POWER" These gloves truly embody the aspect of the Stormcaller Warlock: perfect harmony, housed within a raging storm. While Sunbreakers and Nightstalkers are busy having it out with each other about who is the better subclass, the Warlocks will take to the sky and shatter the earth with a spear of light. "Afraid of a little lightning?" "I'm not paricularly fond of what follows."
