Fast forward to 5:12 to see my Reign of Terror busted after nailing a stormbreaker with an direct hit.
<EDIT>
I didn't say anything about not liking Nightstalker class. I actually love the class. In particular the Keen Scout and the Shade Step with the new helmet so you can have them both at once. The smoke nades are nice too. In PVP, the nades and the super are weaker as compared to the other classes IMO.
Since posting this video I now run Quiver in PVP. Twice more I've had someone activate their super as I supershot them in the face. 2nd time this happened to me I finished him off with a second arrow. Third time, I thought he was dead and I was onto the next target when I got slammed in the rear by Storm Trance. Its a pretty funny video.... when I get a chance I'll post it.
<EDIT 2> Here is the link to the third time this happened to me in about a week. I'm not turning my back on someone I think I killed with Shadow Shot again!
<EDIT 3> At this point I think this is a bug. If you watch both videos closely you will see that after the Warlocks spawn their supers the Void Arrow ORB is just gone. Not even their to tether any other opponents. I think Bungie's desired behavior with the SuperShot is for an un-supered PVP opponent to die from a direct hit. A Super-ed Opponent will be suppressed and weakened. Multiple follow-up damage may be needed to finish them off. A opponent that activates their Super while being shot... this is the big question on what should occur. I think they ought to be suppressed, tethered and wounded. But at the very least tethered and wounded. The Void ORB should not disappear entirely.

Nightstalker is a pve class I thought Bladedancer is the PvP class

Edited by Muted: 9/24/2015 5:19:41 AMPpl keep saying.. SUPPORT! SUPPORT! SUPPORT! It has killing potential too. That shit should've worked. He shot him dead on.
-
First: I never see Titans on PvP Second: Don't make Hunter seem like the Cry babies...
-
16 RepliesSo use a more effective class than nightstalker? Not sure why this is hard to grasp
-
I got 6 kills With one arrow because of every kill makes the target explode causing aoe damage All I needed was one 37 round mag and I got 6 killd
-
Lmao stop crying have you see sunbreaker
-
Pvp is dead gtfo
-
Edited by Sixclicks: 9/23/2015 8:27:55 PMIt should be a one shot kill tbh. Or the tether should activate on impact. A lot of times your target will get out of the tether range before the tether even goes off. Which means it won't suppress them.

Go get ur bladedancer ya babie
-
Stormcaller**
-
11 RepliesYou tethered. He landfalled. The tether orb got destroyed. Tether orbs have health to them.
-
3 RepliesYou need to shut the -blam!- up now. Before you and all these other hunters cause bungie to think there is something wrong with the new subclasses. This is the first time this game has been balanced this well. The new 3 subclasses are perfect for one another. The nightstalker included. If anything, the nightstalker is slightly too powerful. It is not meant to be offensive. It is a supportive class and even then it's very powerful. I love my nightstalker class and I can wreak havoc with it while my titan and warlock buddies come in behind me with my cloak grenade active and blow away the other team. All the supers are overpowered, they are -blam!-ing supers.

10 RepliesEdited by Lord Shaxx: 9/22/2015 9:51:46 PMHunter: WTF MY SUPER IS BALANCED THIS IS BULL$#!T Titan: It's actually really good against the darkness, you allow the other classes to deal large amounts of damage on locked down enemies, as well as creating great combos with other supers. Hunter: DO I LOOK LIKE I GIVE A FURRY F@CK ABOUT THE DARKNESS?! BUNGIE BUFF MEEEEEEEEE Warlock: You need to stop whining, it's still really good for PvP as it can one shot as well as gain large amounts of map control. Hunter: STOP GANGING UP ON ME YOU F@@@GS JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS HAVE OP SUPERS!!! BUNGIE PLS NERF Titan and warlock: Our supers are actually not OP, it's a really common misconception in you hunters. Maybe one day you'll realise this. *Cayde-6 walks in* Cayde-6: Bloody hell what's he crying about this time? Titan: He's crying because his super is balanced Warlock: And he thinks our supers are OP *Cayde-6 sighs* Cayde-6: Look I'm really sorry about this guys, this guy is one of the minority, we're not like this guy at all. Titan: Yeah no worries Cayde, we understand. Cayde-6: thanks for telling me, I'll fix him up *Cayde-6 takes hunter outside* Cayde-6: This is the fifth time this week this has happened, how many times do I have to tell you? Hunter: BU-BU CAYDE?! THEY THINK WE'RE A JOKE! Cayde-6: The only joke right now is that Bungie didn't change the price for TTK in other countries. Hunter: YOU'RE A TRAITOR!!! BUNGIE PLS NERFFF *Cayde-6 sighs again as hunter yells various inappropriate words tangled together in a sentence with nerf* Cayde-6: SHUT THE ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) UP! Cayde-6: Here just take this. *tosses hunter a strange coin* Cayde-6: Go buy something nice.

Shadowshot is a support super, not a killing super. It does massive damage to adds, but not to single enemies

Sick camping

5 RepliesAs a titan I agree. But there again I've been hoping for a buff to defender bubbles for 9 months to no avail. I'm afraid "support" subclasses will always feel like a struggle in pvp. Notice the class with no support subclass? And which class has all the best grenades regardless of subclass? (Why the new hunter class didn't get magnetic grenades is beyond me btw) Bungie loves warlocks more than the others. Don't deny it! We can all see it.

1 ReplyAm i the only one here who realizes this looks like a bug? I assume that it still doesn't count as him being in the super right when the stormcaller activates his super, so the arrow just gets cancelled out for some reason. Nightstalker doesn't need a buff, at least not for this reason.
-
Sign here if you are a hunter and this fag doesn't speak for you
-
Is anyone else getting pissed off at OP because he keeps saying "stormbreaker"
-
1 ReplyWhy do people not get that it's a support super. Not made for kills. It help boost dps for kills as a group. Can be used to advantage in pvp but don't waste time in pvp with it.
-
speed up the shot, get rid of the gravity effect, make the tether indestructible.
-
1 Replyweaker is wrong. It's just not a slayer class. which is why people call it weak. the class is built to zone and control battles. personally i'd never use night stalker in pvp just because I enjoy being a slayer. But that doesn't make it worthless in pvp. I'm just not that type of player.
-
2 RepliesHave to say I agree with everyone telling you it's a support class We make a shit ton of orbs for others to kick ass!!! If you wanna reck people need to switch to another subclass
-
7 RepliesEdited by Urban Shade: 9/23/2015 2:30:27 PMWelp. Never playing nightstalker again in kill based PvP modes. I used quiver once in rumble. I watched a stormer activate in the distance and I had my bow ready. So I thought to myself "oh man this guy is so screwed when he turns the corner" *stormer turns corner *shoots arrow (A DIRECT HIT AND NO SUPPRESSION WTF?) *stormer shrugs off my shot and is now in range to zap my ass *zaps me before I can activate 2nd shot (Thought to myself maybe quiver turns the arrows to 1/3 of the damage of a single shot perk, this video just proved my theory wrong btw) That literally cost me the rumble game. Stick to GG or BD in kill based games. It seems they only excel in objective types and PvE

I'm not the best PVP player but I can kick ass in Crucible with Nightstalker given good opportunity.
-
I can easily shut down a stormbreaker.
