  • Nah its just that most people are bad with the new stormcaller super. If everyone was good with it peopls would be bitching too. I use ionic blink and the exotic gauntlets which grant landfall together with transcendance. My super lasts very long and is very strong by itself and when paired with a mini foh on activation and instablink and glide with focused burst to evade other supers you got the most op thing in the game atm.

  • What makes it the best, ignoring the super. Please enlighten me. I've mained titan since the beta, have two titan characters, and mained Titan Defender in Crucible until Sunbreaker came out. So please, tell me just how bad I am with Titans in the Crucible. My opinion still stands. Other classes are easier to use in Crucible and Striker is lackluster besides lightning grenades and FoH.

  • Idk man. I main a hunter and felt striker was easiest (and most fun) to use lol. Just run with a matador shoulder charging, shot gunning and FOH with 2 lightning grenades

  • Skating, Shoulder Charge, FoH, high armor rating, and Lightning nades. Just because you use a Titan doesn't mean you have to be very good with it. Apparently you're bad if you think that Striker isn't the best subclass for close quarters maps (the majority of Y1). The subclass was built to dominate CQC, and it outperformed everything up close by far. Just because it's your opinion doesn't make it right. Titans were by far the best class for the maps available in year 1.

  • 1.) Skating. I've done the simple version of this 'triple tap' since the first month of Destiny. No one ever mentioned it until videos starting popping up and people were like 'Whoa some guy can do it and even though most people never even tried it, it's OP all of a sudden.' 2.) Shoulder Charge. Many, many discussions of it. Watch your radar and have a shotgun out. End of story. Doesn't work against good players. 3.) FoH... is a super. Bladedancer and GG always got 2 kills minimum in Y1. Nova Bomb is a FoH with a range option, and I got plenty of kills with Sunsinger just running around with Claws one shotting people with my melee while getting an overshield for it. FoH is good for its instant use, though. But you had to wait for kills above 2 while Hunters and Sunsingers didn't. 4.) Armor [i]barely[/i] mattered in Y1. 5.) Lightning Grenades are godly, but they require practice and good placement. I love seeing new titan users who main other classes using Lightning grenades and throwing them straight at the ground. I too thought they sucked, until I got absolutely wrecked by them one match and figured out just how good they are with the correct placement. Compare to Sunsinger melee range, overshield, grenade spam (firebolt and VF....), OHK super melee, self-rez, and Ram... Strikers still aren't the best for any Crucible activities besides shutting down other supers.

  • Except with Skating and SC, you're up to the other player before they can pull out a shotgun, so try again bud. And Skating + Shotgun was devastating so even if you didn't want to SC you had a clear advantage. Allow me to point out the flaw with your argument about SS space princesses; they have to use their supers to get an OHK melee. Strikers just need to run a bit. On top of that, if you play on max sensitivity, you can easily pull around and hit a guy you ran past with it. Because you can totally equate using a super to OHK to a little bit of running, right? Face it kiddo, Striker was the best subclass for the maps available in Year 1.

  • How many times do you get shoulder charged a match? Extremely rarely, so if it's so OP, why isn't everyone using it? Shotguns still are a hard counter to SC and so few people know how to skate to its full potential, you can't say skating is what makes it OP. Strikers have the worst melee in the game not counting shoulder charge. And with shoulder charge, the vast majority of players in Crucible have a shotgun and all of them have a radar. Only bad players get caught by shoulder charge frequently enough to validate its use.

  • Obviously why there were so many titans in the top 100 players for all systems, they were just so OP that nobody played them in the crucible.

  • Hunters were obviously the most underpowered, that's why top 100 is mostly hunters, obviously showing off how skillful they are.
