This thread is supposed to be of help to those who are tasked with this grueling quest and are having trouble with the first part of it. EDIT: TO GET THIS QUEST YOU NEED THE LAST WORD. I SAY IT IN THE FIRST SENTENCE. In order to get to 100% and this quest, you will need The Last Word and Control. Why control? Because a good portion of the time, you will always find a player at a flag, paranoid and unable to aim correctly. In ordrr to use The Last Word, you DO NOT BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AIM THE LAST WORD. YOU[i][b][u]HIPFIRE[/u][/b][/i] IT. If you ever need to aim the weapon, you cannot get the shot on your opponent and wont be able to survive. All supers that kill will give you an extra percentage up (the quest goes off of K/D and kills in case you havent figured it out yet). Remember to hip-fire and aim for the head for those extra crit points if you ARE usong TLW! Secondly, ALWAYS have a bit of distance between you and your opponent because sadly, shotguns weren't exactly nerfed enough. And finally, when you kill an enemy RUN AWAY from their body, not towards it. They might have a friend near and you will need to reload. If there are 2 people and you can run, RUN. You will die and lose 1% if you stick around. If you cant run, fight and use your secondary so you dont lose your 1% you just got if you killed someone. Your other weapons apparently also give you 1%. The next part is to get 15,000 glimmer. The easiest ways are to go into a mission with a lot of the same enemy ( I suggest the first strike on the moon as that has a LOT of hive) and pop a black idol wax. Keep on doing this and youll be there in no time. You should be getting more than 1000 glimmer for certain missions. If you want to multi-task and do patrol and such, do the high value target missions. They give you 500 glimmer every time and is easily the biggest payout for a mission. After you pay the 15k glimmer and give the crystal item to Holiday, you need to go back into the crucible with a shotgun and do the 100% crap again. Sadly, I really dont have a whole lot of advice on this except run n gun, blink, and run away to heal. Rinse and repeat. I used the 4th horsemen and every kill K got was 2-3%. Not sure if this is for every shotgun. Kills with your other weapons will increase it by 1%. We are now at the final part is easily the most difficult. You must kill the Shield Brothers with a shotgun. Thing is, it recommends you a light level 290 version of it, but I HIGHLY doubt you need to do that as the quest only specifies that you need to kill both shield brothers with a shotgun. It doesnt say light level or anything so this should be a LOT easier, but still hard. EDIT: You MUST kill the Shield Brkthers at the light level 290 strike. I just killed both of them TWICE with a shotgun without the 290 and it didnt complete the quest. EDIT: APPARENTLY people can not read. When i said you NEED TLW, I never meant you need to use it. You can use your special, heavy, etc. While it being equipped. I do not know why you people are so lazy and not search up the reward for this quest, but the reward is The Chaperone. Dont bother asking what it is. When you get the quest and go through it, youll figure it out. HUGE EDIT: SO I LEARNED SOMETHING: IF YOU AND SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE QUEST AND YOU GET THE KILLS ON THE SHIELD BROTHERS WITH A SHOTTY, IT WILL COMPLETE THAT PART WITH EVERY PERSON WHO HAS IT ON THE FIRETEAM
