The gun is a beast. I use it in the raid and do higher DPS than anyone in team. As for nightfall I have to disagree. Telesto wrecks the skiffs turrets and destroys the shank boss.

looking at the base stats on planet destiny stillpiercer is certainly very good. visible stats are almost identical to the 1000 Yard Stare, with I think 3 better reload speed. however, the hidden stats are a little different. higher equip speed by 5, but lower aim assist by 4. The recoil direction is 40, rather than 70 but I really have no clue what that actually means in game. all other stats are the same. the Eirene RR4, as has been suggested by someone else here is also pretty good, as it has the same RoF, but 3 higher impact and significantly higher range. but base stability is poor, and reload is slower in comparison. though this stat is probably not as noticeable since the difference isn't huge. in hidden stats it has very low aim assist and slow equip speed by comparison. they are all REALLY good guns. but I think that stat-wise the 1000 yard stare is the most balanced, and therefor the best. but sadly, I don't have any of them. :( also, I have heard that Stillpiercer is a Hunter exclusive gun, so... yeah. here is where I got my comparison numbers from Eirene RR4 http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/3629543169 1000 Yard Stare http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/1703777169 StillPiercer http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/1742712674 as I was also curious to how they stacked up to previous crucible sniper kings I looked at the longbow as well, which still holds up rather well I thought. (would have preferred unflinching but I can't complain.) it has so little recoil, it is an awesome gun to get to use. :) super happy with it. I hope that I can match/beat its stats with a 1000 yard stare rolled with hidden hand and hand-laid stock. :) I know reforging is gone, but I can dream, right?

Susanoo for warlocks, too. I was doing T2 court of oryx. My friend revived me, and the multi element shield knight was on solar. Susanoo starts on solar, so it was a quick shield removal. I melee hit a random acolyte and make my Susanoo arc. Knight becomes arc, and Susanoo takes it down super quickly. Knight shield has now become rekt.

it is an amazing sniper. just put it to 300. it is the only one i could find that did one-shot kill on knights in the glyphs part of raid. (precision hit) hereafter and 2 others couldnt do it :/

1000 yard stare is op bro mine is with life support and outlaw with hand laid stock . It's like a praedyth's revenge with high impact , short gaze and ambush scope . Pve and pvp . I respect ur opinion I had one before but I prefer the marks tho lol

1000 yard stare, the one on my level 40, the extra damage against taken enemies perk works great
