So Motes of Lights aren't worth a dime now?
So we can't use motes on engrams anymore, what's the use of them now?

what if you could use these to upgrade your faction rep or dismantle them to level your gear up

Someone in the tower should be able to trade in Motes of light for Strange coins, if Xur has that feature to exchange your Strange coins for Motes why not Vise Versa ? Bungie probably won't do shit about it or add this feature until next year. Always something missing in this game. Its annoying. Not sure why in year 1 it required 21 motes or 23 for an exotic engram and now they want 31 strange coins, Give me a -blam!-ing break.... Why CHANGE IT... Increase the motes to 31 for an engram don't change the currency. Bullshit !

I'd keep some if I were you tho just because xur didnt sell an engram for motes doesn't mean it might not happen so keep em to be sure next week

So guys I have over 300 motes saved up. Can I trade these in for something useful?? I know to keep a decent amount to upgrade and stuff but please reply soon!!

While they do have a new use I do agree that it is kind of disappointing that Xur doesn't take motes anymore.

They are more useful you use them to level up items and you get 100 xp with faction every time you give them 5 motes of light . When you hit level 25 with a faction you get a quest to do

6 RepliesYou can use them to boost the level on your gear. They are still used to by stuff from the speaker. They are used to buy items from the shader lady. They are used for faction exp (best deal for faction exp). Those are the ones I can list off the top of my head.
