Why Is the Raid 290 Light? Not letting me edit the post, only the title. Inspect my warlock before commenting please.
Does anyone else agree with me that it should have been 280? That way the people stuck at 270ish would have been comfortable attempting it.

People who are stuck, are infusing too much, this slowing down their level progression. Just equip what drops that's higher than your gear.

It's 300 at oryx

280 for a normal raid is about inline with every other raid before ttk. If you convert it to levels like we had before that is. So it's almost max light but not quite. Not hard at all to get the required light for it, especially with xur selling exotic armour to help boost it. I'm sitting around 250-260 light and most my gear isn't even levelled up yet, or legendary, and I'm just doing the quests. Keep playing and just get what's required to enter by other means like every player in every piece of content beforehand.

People are not "stuck" at 270, it's only been a few days.

I went from 211 to 275 in less than 1 hour today at the court of oryx, check your armour before scrapping anything.

5 RepliesThe games only been out for 4 days and raid out for not even 12 hours. But people are already complaining. If you're below light level, run strikes and be highest possible light when dismantling blues and check if you get a piece every time you decrypt before continuing.

I don't. I like that it's somewhat difficult. I would honestly love for it to be something that I would have to invest 30+ hrs of grind to get into. And then have to spend several days completing the raid.

In terms of challenge the raid should be the pinnacle of PvE content. Anything less than 290 light would've felt like dumbing down, to me anyway. I'm hoping the creativity & mechanics are on point & it's not just OP enemies. Bring it on. :-)

Nightfall is always a little under the max. So 290 makes sense. And this is normal mode. Hard will probably be 300 or higher.
