UPDATED: HOW TO DO THE KINGS FALL RAID! (WITH TIPS!)

I'm typing all of this while doing the raid, so it's very messy. Watch the video instead. CURRENT STATUS: Looking for an EXPERIENCED Oryx Team. PM me on bungie if you need my help. In the future, I will create a video on how to complete the FULL raid! stay tuned! Here is the weapon load-out you NEED in order to have a smooth and efficient raid: Primary: 290+ Auto Rifle/Pulse Rifle [Exotics preferred] Secondary: 275+ Sniper Rifle [Hereafter/Raid Sniper preferred]* Heavy: 285+ Machine Gun *Have plenty of ammo synthesis Side Note: You SHOULD have 290+ overall light, because Oryx recommends 300. If you have anything else, you will be useless. Part 1: Getting the Orb Relics together The video isn't clear, but basically, you need two people to grab the orbs, and have everyone else do crowd control. The two relic holders MUST place the orbs at the same time! The walls are immune to the relic holders, so they must be shot at by others. Once the first two orbs are placed, go back out, and have 3 people go through each of the other doors (left and right). The orbs are placed farther apart each time. If you fail it, you lose a round. There are 6 rounds total. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/Vj7CzTgWYAM Part 2: Jumping the Hive Ships Try to have "Higher Jump" available. This one is a bit tough to do... Here's a very messy video of us doing it. It's kind of self explanatory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn2snzhv2Go Part 3: Power the Glyph (There's a fragment in the video) Three people go on each side (Left and Right). The person who first walks through the relic gets the "brand." The other two get the Aura. The first person who gets the aura will get the brand next. The person with the brand MUST stay on the totem. The person who loses the brand gets the deathsinger x10 buff where they have to go to the middle and stand on the platform until ALL x10 is removed. (Back on the totem, there's two people standing so they don't lose the brand). Here's the video: https://youtu.be/eHvuLWkV-NU Part 4: Warpriest If you have the band, make sure you kill something at the LAST 2-3 SECONDS of your timer. That way, it will reset (losing a rank), and wont kill you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV0K-FNte6E Part 5: Golgoroth https://youtu.be/ivvtGai0Acg By Kush_The_Ninja
How we beat Golgoroth! Easy casual mode Roles: 2 taunter, 4 DPS Everyone stay kinda near beginning area, use supers and nades to quickly mow down thrall and acolytes. Don't taunt boss until all acolytes are down. Once acolytes are down, make a judgement call on which side to start on based on his position, you want to have the pool of light drop just as he's turning for max time in pool DPS. We had the people on the right side start at the far right blob, positioned just left of the door. People on the left start at first left blob. Taunter a Job: taunt by shooting exposed yellow on his back. Once you taunt him, stand still and shoot the 3 orbs that shoot at you. When you have him taunted this is his only attack. They are very easy to kill, one pulse burst, one bullet from heavy(varies) Position yourself so you are in a straight line with the blob your DPS'ers are going for. Communicate constantly with other taunter with a countdown, and switch at about 5 seconds left or less if you're confident. As a taunter, when you're not shooting blobs you should be either killing thralls or assisting your DPSers if they are shooting the next hanging blob at this time. DPS job: teams of 2 on each side. talk to your taunter constantly about where to position as they have timers and other stuff to worry about, and they can help on their downtime. Time the dropping for the blobs with golgo turning at start. Once it's your turn, jump down from upper ledge and unload all you've got. Snipers work best. Shoot blue stomach obviously. Use any buff you have, WoL, sun breaker buff, nigh stalker buff. Once he's turning, cover the other 2 man team by killing thralls. If you still have a pool active just stay there, don't jump back up, don't run away, stay put. Once thrall are dead, and only IF your pool is running out, start shooting next hanging blob. Team on right side will go from furthest blob to closest, and left side team will go from closest to furthest. Again, don't start going on next pool of light until yours runs out, if you're ever stuck just smash help from taunters Once all blobs are done the gtfo and get back to starting positions. Kill all acolytes before taunting and starting the blobs again. Rinse and repeat until done. Some things you can do to speed things up: If you have a good rhythm and are taking care of thralls easily, have one of your DPSers from each side join the other team to have 3 constantly shooting at golgo in pools of light. We did this near the end when enrage was coming soon. Noob tips> 6 deaths and you're done, stay alive! Be constantly talking and warn your teammates of thrall spawns, especially when positioned near the caves. There may be quicker ways, but this is easy to handle!
Part 6: Daughters of Oryx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKfeP70eh_I (less than 3 minutes) From ALTEredkill:
After golgorath its a maze. First right, first left. First left, first right. That is if it is not randomized. There is a hidden chest in there somewhere. After there are two witches on a middle platform with 4 lower, but still raised platforms around them. After a few seconds of spawning someone will have there soul split. And an orb similar to the echochamber will spawn in the air. To get the orb, four people will have to get on the 4 platforms in the correct order, you will know once you have done it when the person whose soul is split sees a "path of lights" go all the way around ending in the orb. Heres a little map. 1..............2 W2.........W1 3..............4 Spawn So say the orb spawn above the 4 platform, the path starts at 2. First person and soulsplit person get on the platform, then 1 gets on next, then 3, then 4. IT HAS TO GO IN THAT ORDER. The first person to get on is always counter clockwise of the spawned orb, and keep going clockwise.ALL 4 PEOPLE MUST STAY ON THE PLATFORMS UNTIL HE GETS THE ORB. As soon as he gets the orb, all 5 other people go to the spot between 1 and 2. As soon as he gets the orb, he will go to the opposite witch that is "freaking out" doing space magic or some shit. So in the case of the first sequence, the orb wielder goes to W2. Go into her bubble, and hold square. You literally steal her shield from her. Drop down between 1 and 2. The shield makes everyone inside invincible from everything. Everyone now shoots W2 with snipers/ primaries. Make sure one person is on adds that whole time. After around 15 seconds she will do a blast of light and you cant see. STAY IN THE BUBBLE. You will die if you go outside. After, you repeat the jumping on the platforms in order and grab the orb, but, next take the shield from W1. Do the same thing to her. Do this 4 times, they should both be dead. KEEP CHANGES WITCHES EACH TIME YOU GRAB THE ORB. Always take the shield from the witch that is calm. Reminder: every time you grab the orb and steal the witches shield, the orb will be in a different place (most of the time). So take that into effect. Orb at 4: jump on in order-2,1,3,4 Orb at 3: 4,2,1,3 Orb at 2: 1,3,4,2 Orb at 1: 3,4,2,1 STAY ON THE PLATES THE WHOLE TIME UNTIL HE GRABS ORB.
Part 7: Oryx Here's the last 10 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1&v=czG7NPDjDk0 I'll keep uploading once we go through each! Currently doing the raid.
I'm doing this with my clan. If you'd like to join, visit http://www.transitioners.org
