1 ReplyI think I might have an idea of what he's talking about, he specifically said it's a year 1 mission that involve 2-3 drops per death, assuming ToC works correctly. What he might be implying is that you have to kill multiple ultras along with yourself simultaneously so that that drop rate buff is applied to all of them. Only mission I can think of that let you fight multiple ultras at once is one of the HoW mission called the "ruling house" where you have to kill 3 house of kings baron at the end. If those guys are ultra and you can somehow kill all of them at once along with yourself, what he said might work. I need to test this out later today, you guys can feel free to check it out. I couldn't care less about the moral behind this, it's a game mechanic working in every way intended.

12 RepliesThe key here is don't go mad with it.. If you farm this until it is patched you will have most of the exotics but what will you have to achieve after that!?? As with all things use in moderation.. I've used a few coins, got Hereafter and new Crest of alpha lupi and I'm happy.

3 RepliesThe entire concept behind the Three of Coins is completely stupid. So stupid in fact, that I almost want to make conspiracy theory out of it. Bungie released this item as an equalizer for the currency. Yes, the people with 1000+ strange coins won't be hurt by this. (You're a minority) It's the average joe, the majority of players, who will blow all their strange coins on this item...and then be back to square one.
