A Sale from the Prison of Elders.
If you haven't read the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/News?aid=13575]Bungie Weekly Update[/url] yet Tyson Green stopped by to give some information about how Xûr has changed his inventory for Year Two. A lot of players were asking me some questions so I wanted to clarify a few things that weren't specifically mentioned in the update.
- Exotics that previously only dropped in POE can drop from Legacy Engrams
- Xûr will continue to sell one piece of Exotic armor per class
- None of the information I am giving is a promise about what will happen tomorrow

Yeah, got Truth on first weapon engram. This will be great for getting the year 2 blueprints for year 1 exotics. I look forward to seeing how much better Destiny gets in the coming 10 years or so. :-)

4 RepliesHello Cozmo, I was wondering if you knew or if anyone at Bungie was actively (or passively) looking at what to do with "extra" exotic shards. I know that they are used to purchase year 1 exotics from kiosk and to level year 1 exotics, but a lot of guardians I'm sure have quite a few just lying around. Wonder if this issue might be on the horizon? Some suggestions I have would be: 1) A turn in with Xur. We purchased one for 7 SC but maybe get 4-6 SC back when we turn them into Xur. 2) A mote exchange with speaker or Xur. One shard for 5-10 motes. 3) A glimmer "refund." We turn in one shard for 2500-3500 glimmer.

1 ReplyCozmo, I would like to first complement your efforts and humor as a partial voice of this community. I have some feedback for you and Bungie regarding the recent weekly news update. When Mr. Green described the new updates that will reflect Xur, my son and daughter felt overwhelmed with excitement that weapon engrams can now be purchased. I reviewed the update notes by Mr. Green and concluded that it only represented year 1 gear. With the exception of Necrocasim and The Vex as stated by Mr. Green. With that said, I consider that House of Wolves exotic gear would be available as well. This part was not directly clarified but nonetheless, nor was it denied. Therefore, I think that this community, including my kids, can be overly excited and misinterpretate simple dialogue. Prehaps there is an age gap that clearly defines what is to be determined by common sense and reading too much into certain elements of this game. The present fragmentation can disoriente the community because it is not defined clearly enough and requires detailed explanation to comprehend. Others however, can assimilate the information as intended and progress will full understanding of the outcomes. In short, my only suggestion is keep it straight to the point. Confusion is rampant with the community, ie "legacy engrams" and "three of coins". At times, it is humorous to read the wonders of the community on the forums. To each their own. Keep up the great work. The Taken King has exceeded my families expectations. Looking forward to the all the great things to be found in The Taken King and the next installment...hopefully a revisit to inner Vault... Sincerely, Guardians family of The Vanguard

POE gear) - Random Year Two Exotic Engram - Loot drop buffing token Right? ...man, I don't have enough strange coins saved up...

4 Repliesummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so Xur can change from day to day now? fa realz? also the three of coins, it says its stackable. does this mean use more than one at a time to improve your chances ooooooooooooooooor use one at a time and if you fail the first time on the next use the chances stack in your favor.. this needs serious clarification.
