Praedyth has the worst fate of any character
Stuck in the treasure room for time eternal. Only allowed to speak when the vex are in trouble. Body stripped clean of all gear and held onto by atheon. Still thinks he's alive when he's dead for sure.

I think that maybe he can still be saved. We now know he exists. He is know about so he does exist in the present. Maybe this can help bring him back.

21 RepliesKabr's whole team had the worst fate all in all, not just praedyth. There was that hunter who got lost in the vault and had to construct the super good advice to talk to him (yes the gun is actually an AI) so he wouldn't go insane. I feel awful for them.

This was great though to play out. I was happy to see more of his story come to light instead of just have the revenge and timepeace to go off of. I hope they continue story lines in a fashion like this because it's enjoyable and it gives the fights some "meaning" in the long run. Your building knowledge of the universe and escaping/defeating things that have claimed guardians of the past

In one of the TTK story mission [spoiler]where you need to make a desperate escape from the hive tunnel and Oryx black mist engulfed the entire area, thus cutting off communication with everyone back at the Tower, then the comms went live briefly and you can hear Eris said something like 'thats how Eriana was lost in there'. [/spoiler] There's so much more story to be told for these two fireteams that met their fateful end in two different raid, Bungie needs to expand on their sub plot and reveal the mysteries.

9 RepliesBungie has really made you actually care about the characters in the story with this expansion. It was so hollow with vanilla, you had no response to care about these seemingly soulless NPC's and characters. But now, they're given context and emotion. I felt sadness when I heard Praydeth's last words, Tevis losing his light against the Vex, hearing Cayde's voice after he found out Tevis was dead. "Make em pay, Guardian." Awesome stuff, Bungie. The storytelling is finally there.

[b][u]Kabr[/u][/b]: Knock yourself out -blam!- face. *Praedyth climbs up the rocks, and enters the treasure room* [b][u]Praedyth[/u][/b]: OM-blam!-INGG I GOT GJALLERHORN OH -blam!- YES GUYS I GOT GJA... *Kabr closes and locks the door to the treasure room* [b][u]Praedyth[/u][/b]: -blam!-.
