Are there any other ways to get Gunsmith rep without field test weapons and quests?
I really want rank 2 gunsmith and have done all of the field test weapons this week. I just need 250 rep for rank 2. Anyone know how?

Look for relics on strikes , they are the little pyramids that look like yhey are quest drops and should appear as legendary weapons in the missions inventory, they are worth about 250 rep

Yes, run around and kill stuff until you get what looks like a purple fusion rifle drop. After killing someone it will look like a white triangle on the ground. Pick it up and it will say some funky letters in purple. It's a relic, and u can turn it into the gunsmith for 200rep. I've found three of them so far, all yesterday, just by doing other quest. They are random drops.

At this point no. Need to get a lucky relic drop to give to him. He does start giving quests at rank 2 though it seems
