Daily PvE: 15 marks Daily PvP: 15 marks 30 X 7 = 210 Weekly Heroic can be done three times per ACCOUNT. Weekly Heroic: 10 marks 10 X 3 = 30 Therefore, there is a soft cap of 240 "earnable" marks each week. All other marks come from dismantling legendaries. Each weapon/armor piece will give 3-5 marks depending on how much xp is on the item. Edit: Also there are at least two quests that grant marks. One for 20 marks and one for 25 marks. It SEEMS they are once per CHARACTER. The complaint is while they removed the cap, they limited how you earn them. It makes it harder for people who can only play on certain days to collect marks.

You get 10 for every weekly heroic so that's what I farm

Daily heroic = 15 x 7 = 105 marks/week daily crucible = 15 x 7 = 105 marks/week weekly heroic = 3 x 10 = 30 marks/week So at a minimum you can get 240 marks per week from just doing those activities. Of course those numbers assume you have 3 characters at level 40 with light levels at 240+/- to do the daily and weekly activities. Not sure if the nightfall rewards marks. Anyone know? But you can add in some quests that can offer up to 20-25 each along with dismantling legendary gear and you can easily exceed the 200 soft cap each week. Who know what the raid will offer? And there may still be some other ways to obtain marks that have not yet been revealed.

Weekly heroic strike only award u marks the first 3 completions across all 3 characters too. NF u can do on each character but don't think they award marks but could be wrong. 15+15*7= 210 from daily 10*3= 30from weekly heroic 240 a week[/spoiler]

1 ReplyAs far as I know you get the marks for both dailies only on one character. A lot less marks, but in my opinion still enough. That nets a total of 240 excluding nightfalls and other activities we don't knowing about yet. Before we were able to get 300 marks with similar pricing. Not that big of a difference, considering drops have been adjusted a lot and we get tons of gear from anything, including exotics from quests that are not based on RNG. I think this is completely fine. And wait for the raid, IB, trials and maybe even the court tier 3 (no idea what it gives, as no one really is farming that yet).
