I heard that ppl got at 290 light..how?

Update:thx for your tips i managed to go 260 light..btw heroic strike wont give me marks anymore..
Update 2: I got to 270 light..you guys give really good tips..thank you very much..now i plan on getting some more legendary marks for vanguard armor..do nightfall and when i get at least 280..do King's Fall..(lets wreck Oryx)

Using a three coin xur item to get year 2 exotic weapon helps too I got last word :)

Easy way I got my Titan to 283 was to do strikes, quests till u get to light 241. Once at 241 do vanguard heroic strikes to get legendary marks as well u can do daily pvp and pve strikes to earn 15 marks each of pvp and pve for one guardian since marks are account wide. After awhile you will get your light higher. Before doing this complete a subclass quest since the class item u get have a perk to increase your legendary drop. These marks u can buy new gear. As well do pvp mostly because you can get a 297 defense ghost. Most importantly do strikes even after 280 light because you can keep infusing your current gear with legendary things u get from strike to become more powerful

Grind strikes, and grind for legendary marks. Tip* don't waste marks on armor spend it on a 280 ghost (trust me your ghost will be holding you down) Make sure you wear your best armor and gear when decrypting engrams. Also infusing good weapons is better than just deleting every better legendary you get (make sure you infuse your sword, turns out swords get more attack. Damage when you infuse it) I may not be a 290+ light yet however doing this method I went from 220 to almost 280 light yesterday

Im at i believe 284? 286? Something like that. Just get good gear. Exotics help a lot one weapon and an armor

Court, heroic strikes, and some RNG.

Infuse stuff, DONT decrypt all engrams at once, go ONE AT A TIME. As soon as a higher slot item appears, throw it on and your other engrams decrypt higher. Fastest way to boost it.

Once you have done all 3 heroic strikes, you wont get anymore marks from strike

5 Replies291 light. I'd be higher if I had a better ghost. My 268 ghost drags me down. Yes, I know I could buy the 280 from the vanguard or crucible, but I like my black ghost! So I'm just hoping for some ghosts to drop and I can infuse it.
