Day one earns more respect than giving aid to a tiny country with a poor poor infrastructure who suffered a terrible disaster? Good job American school systems, since I know all you little kids and uneducated people voted for vanity and idiocy. Thumbs up

  • I think it has more to do with player versus person. The Nepal emblem shows you are a moralistic person while the beta emblem shows your merits of seniority as a player. So basically I think this post is about which emblem shows the most dedication to the game or at least that's what people are thinking

  • Great point. And I saw that as well, however I couldn't let it slide when he asked what earns our respect and where most people's reading comprehension failed on them. You're right though.

  • Low blow bro. Ah well, at least we still have morals... wait... not that either... uhhh... we have pride... each other and an undying confidence in ourselves and our actions. At least we have something. Do not misinterpret this last statement.

  • Hey man I'm just repeating information available to anyone who wants to read about it. American school systems are not up to par, and countries like Argentina have a higher literacy rate than my country does. It makes me sad and at the same time happy that so many people here get mad at my comment, the truth hurts, but I guess my presentation of it hurt even more

  • The school system comment was a bit of an exaggeration and almost... or rather does go completely ignored. The vanity is something that you are spot on with most of the U.S., regardless of how much I would hate to say it.

  • Slight exaggeration maybe, but it's fun to see the people squirm. I don't think it went unnoticed most of the comments were about that I think haha. I mean, read my name, the troll is obvious I think.

  • Disappointed that you just pointed that out, not all of us are the product of American schooling

  • Now I agree with you but the thing is, I bet that most people didn't buy the shirt and all that to help Nepal. They bought it for personal gain and so they could "look cool" in a virtual game. The only one that deserve respect are the ones that truly bought it to help charity and not just for personal gain

  • I'd say half the people did it for your reasons but I'd hope it wasn't true. Nepal is truly dear to my family's heart.

  • Yo Americans if you spent less time chanting the pledge of allegiance in class and more time reading you wouldn't be 14th in the world for education

Lol I stated that the kids and the uneducated voted for idiocy and vanity. Sorry 35% couldn't read and comprehend what the title said and what the poll's contents were. Feathers rustled.

  • Random assumptions yes! Demographically guessing no, it's not hard to find out through some research how the school systems stack up across the world. Try the gurgling it on the webs.

  • You are, though. It's a wild and childish assumption that this is a result of the American education system and that Americans are the ones accountable for the results of this poll. You get my connection? I'm finding that I have to go back and articulate my responses.

  • Nah I accused half of it on the American school system and the other half on the uneducated members of the forum wherever they may be from. I only argue because I know for a fact that the education in this country isn't up to par comparatively speaking to a lot of countries that don't have this large of an economy or resources to which they could help the cause.
