Perhaps promotion isn't the best word to use, but they granted players the ability to game share for the first year. They are no longer letting people use this feature with their game. I don't know about ever other game on a 360, but it does seem to be a larger issue with 360 users. Look on the bright side. maybe this will be what finally convinces Bungie to drop old gen and drop PS3s and 360s support in favor of current gen consoles. Why they even bothered to put a brand new game on a 10 year old console is ludicrous . Perhaps you are right, and they were money grabbing with all the 360 consoles out there to be potential customers.
