You can only infuse legendary gear. Using a higher level Niro buff your purple. Not vice versa.

Oh so use a higher level blue to buff the purple ok, i follow. I have to get a purple first lol.

Yep unfortunately. Good luck. Doing strikes you should get one eventually or quests reward them
