Hunter New Subclass "Nightstalker" Discussion
Here is a video of me going over the subclass Nightstalker, which is the new hunter subclass in The Taken King. It is my first thoughts on the subclass and I show the tree breakdown. What're your initial first thoughts on this subclass? I would also be curious to hear about the warlock and titans new subclass as well. The warlocks seems INCREDIBLE in both PvE and PvP!! I want to apologize that I didn't include the portion of the story that we get to tryout the nightstalker subclass. For some reason my stream shat the bed and didn't record the first couple missions =( buuuuuut I will be uploading lot more TTK content including nightstalker PvE + PvP gameplays.

3 RepliesAs a decent PvP player, I can say that Nightstalker will be pretty mediocre, maps don't tailor well to their Shadowshot, and the opportunities for playmaking are too far few. In the hands of the few, Nightstalker will excel, but I see no place where running Gunslinger full time would be worse in Trials.

1 ReplyI think bloodbound+light of the pack with vanish in smoke on the side makes nightstalker the best pve class in the game. 2 orbs minimum per mob+ shared damage and explosions equals insade crowd control which generates even more orbs. Plus the ability to make safe get aways or revives at any point across the map simply by throwing your smoke is amazing in itself. Honestly the only reason why i'd ever use a defender at this point is if you need a place to draw or block aggro. and sun singers are pure trash compared to the defender and night stalker.

2 RepliesThis is more a PVE support class. The tethering which comes after the super is meant to hold enemies down and setup for other supers that are meant to do the damage. Or lockdown priority targets such as bosses or certain annoying elite type enemies. Haven't tried it in PVP yet.

1 ReplyI don't think people realized this yet but shadow shot blinds enemy's that it traps sometimes even bosses it also makes big bosses flinch when first shot and while an enemy is tethered all damage to the enemy counts as precision shots.

So playing with this subclass some more I must say it is AMAZING in PvE.. (Have yet to try PvP) I was using my gunslinger at one point to complete a quest and I kept saying I WANT THIS OVER so I can go back to nightstalker! ORBS for days.... How exactly does the orbs work? THEY JUST KEEP coming and coming hahahaha

3 RepliesThe sunbreaker is epic in PVP. Feels so good to finally get a slayer class for titans and it's just great. The quest for it is epic too. Haven't had time to go do my other characters yet
