No you don't. You buy the rights to play their game on your account. You do not have the right to share the game with other people so they don't have to pay for the content. Game sharing was allowed in the first year as a way for people interested in trying the game to try it out on someone else's system. If they liked it they were supposed to buy it for their own account, not keep stealing it.

So you're saying that Bungie KNOWINGLY allowed people to "share" all of the first year's content, with the end game being that if they liked it enough, they would purchase that and any forthcoming product. If on the chance they DID "like" the product, and they did not then buy it, they were "stealing." You're a special kind of stupid. No more food, Troll.
-
So... lets say you bought TTK hardcopy. And you share a console with your "Family Member". It seems stupid to buy a second copy of the same thing! Especially if its ON THE SAME CONSOLE.
-
Bungie seems to think that is theft of their copyrighted material. They want every account to have it's own copy of the game, and they have been more than reasonable about it making that switch when you break it down. I paid $135 to play all available content as of today. Someone else could have been game sharing this past year, and they could have bought the legendary edition for $60 and have the exact same access, achievements, etc as me. That is beyond unfair, but if people have been game sharing they have been getting the game for free. Now every account has to at least pony up $60.
-
But why the heck do I need to buy the other DLCs? The Taken King is a SEPERATE DLC, and I should be able to buy it. I respect their new policy, but its seems greedy! No hate***
-
Are u a bungie employee or a troll? Either way not helping. Either way bad decision by bungie so watch a great game crash and burn.
-
Neither. I just don't see why people game sharing should be getting the game for free while I paid $135 for it. They now have to pay $60 to have the exact same access. I should be the one throwing a fit not them.
-
Let me ask you this what about the people who aren't doing that? I'm not doing that but I have to suffer... Is that fair? And people might not be doing this as much if bungie didn't do this. This is one of the dumbest things I have seen but I think bungie will fix it.

There are two types of people: People who have paid to play this game, and people who had been playing the game for free via game sharing. People who have paid to play have paid $135-140. People who have shared have paid $0, but if they want to continue playing they have to pay $60.
