So if i do not buy TTK i am stuck at lv 34?
Above says it all. I wont be able to get on till about 12 hours from now. If anyone can confirm this thank you.
Edit#1. Thanks replys. I expected to be locked out of "new" content but not partially locked out of content i paid for ex: crucible playlist.
Edit#2..content we paid for should be the same as when we paid for it. Bungie is very wrong by doing this. Ex: crucible playlist now being a random list. That is not what we paid for.
Edit#3 Thanks to all for kind feedback. After researching and seeing the new grind i fully decided not to get ttk. To those guardians who enjoy you guys rock and thanks for feedback. I am not bashing destiny but i wont feed the beast(bungievision) when i know sooner or later they will wipe all my grind again. I still play pvp in classic. Pvp is more balanced than ever at this point and time which is great for me because i am 1st a pvp player. Good luck guardians.

That new content is then featured front and center in every way and the old content is pushed off to the side. WoW, Diablo, SWTOR etc etc have followed this design for years. This is not new and this not shocking. They did it for TDB and they did it for HoW, but they did it on a smaller scale because they were smaller packages. TTK is essentially Destiny 1 part 2. So of course its impact on the day to day functionality of the game is gonna be MUCH more noticeable and much more profound. You paid for content. You got that content. You [i]still have[/i] that content. You can still play that content. [i]Features[/i] such as the endgame activities however will always be geared toward the latest content and if you don't have that content then you obviouslly cannot participate in the features that use that new content. The same goes for the levelcap as well. You paid for the level-cap to be increased in each of the new DLC's that came out because they were TIED to that content and you need that gear in order to REACH that new cap. They have now raised it again and have tied that cap to the new gear. Gear you don't have access to because you have not paid for it yet. So of [i]COURSE[/i] the Vendors are going to be selling the latest and greatest gear. Do you honestly think that they should still be selling old level Vanilla gear like Shadow Price or The Devil You Know even though its been outclassed ages ago? I understand that you are upset that your options are limited now because the content you bought is no longer[i] featured[/i], but don't sit their and claim that it is no longer there or that you no longer have access to it. Yyou are not locked out of crucible. There is an option for year one maps only.

For the foreseeable future? Yes. Will they eventually release the level cap to match TTK but keep the classes and missions locked out? I don't see why not but at least for now, it's for paying players only.

No other non-subscription game has ever done this before. Activision is basically taking away something a person bought only a year ago. I feel a lot of guilt and loathing for giving this despicable publisher my money.
