Bungie are you kidding me? I bought the Destiny edition PS 4 system. Pre ordered. Picked it up. Finally got it all set up and ready to play Destiny. Only to find out that I have a 17.6623 GB download to get through first?
WTF are you guys doing? Are you serious that this data could not be pre installed on the system already? Just when the community thinks you guys are alright, you go and do something like this and prove the hates were right all along..

Lol you bought a brand new system that was packaged probably a month before patch 2.0 so no in that aspect it could not be put on there second of all bungie never touched any of though systems only Sony if you want to be mad at anyone be mad at Sony then be mad at yourself because you for some reason forgot that we all had to download a 17 gb patch.
-
Same thing for me on xbox one except I was being prompted to download the 17 gigs about 6 hours before reset. Last time the download took me about an hour. This time it wouldn't even budge off 0% so I kept trying to restart it and same shit. Idk wtf to do

Edited by GrEaSYmUFFiN325: 9/15/2015 1:39:08 PMYou should have preordered it online. I'm good to go

Same happened for xb1 when I picked up the ojysical copy. Still downloading after 12 hours.... Got so annoyed just biught the 360 version and it was 108kb because of the compat pack. Its the same -blam!- up 343i did with Master Chief collection. Difference being it's not an 80gb download
-
2 RepliesThat's probably like 10mb of actual game and like 16gb of stupid ass compatibility packs
-
1 ReplyWow, you're making a big deal out of nothing. Unless you have shitty wifi, it only took mine an hour and a half. If you got it at a gamestop release, etc. you had hours to download this before the taken King goes live. Don't get mad at bungie, you had time. Just when we "think they're alright"? You're too mad about the download. Haha

Hahahahaha

4 RepliesYeah I came with the same problem. I thought the physical copy was going to be TTK and everything on the disk. My ps4 has just broken and it's not even downloading 1mb per second :/ I dunno what to do...
-
2 RepliesWhat is this 1990? You expect everything to be on one disk? It's just the core game in disk. Not the patch. Maybe you should go pick up an N64 if you want everything on one cartridge with nothing to download ever.
-
2 RepliesAre you serious? I this the first time you've played a current gen game? 99% of games (especially a year old) will have you download something after you put the disk in. STFU and get over it.
-
Should of downloaded the update with the demo for free.
-
It's the 2.0 update. We've all had to download. Easy tiger
-
2 RepliesDon't worry man I am downloading right now. I just got one question for you guys. Do I be able to play the TTK on my PS3 when I only bought it for my new ps4?
-
Go home, you're drunk
-
>year one master race
-
4 RepliesAwesome since I ordered the CE physical version, guess I have a couple of hours of download time to look forward too later on when i receive my package lol..
-
It's from the patch, no game ever comes installed with all patches. Even games that have a day one patch you still have to download it. If you had a ps4 before you got the bundle. Just turn both off and switch the hard drives and it should be fine.
-
Oh, you have plenty of time still. My download only took 30 minutes to download and that was 2 hours after it released. Now there isn't as many people downloading off their servers. And you can blame them, the patch wasn't out when the console was built, and software was uploaded,
-
I didnt have this problem
-
The disc is just vanilla destiny

Edited by CandycabNGFL: 9/15/2015 7:58:52 AMThat 17gig update was no where near completed ( if it even existed at all ? ) when your PS4 was boxed and shipped to retailers.
-
Edited by WTFisTrue: 9/15/2015 8:26:37 AMYou were going to have to download it anyways. The Taken King is not on a disc, and Sony wasn't going to download it for you. Bungie only got their hands on around five of them.
-
2 RepliesIf you picked the system up at midnight, might want to start the download quick, ttk goes live in an hour. I had the same thing happen to me at last years launch. Stayed up all morning went to work and was too tired to play until the next day. I'd suggest just put the update to download and go to sleep. Mine took about 12 hrs.
-
Yeah that's the update us online preorders had to go through last week
-
Sooooo whaaaaat?
-
That is TTK you missed the bitch festival by about a week so just download the update
