Grow up.
A can of redbull costs only 3 dollars and the stuff will be out January 1st for those who don't get it early. What gives you the right to effectively steal codes from paying customers? Let's be real here a lot of us didn't want to buy the redbull for the actual redbull (I prefer monster if I'm going to have an energy drink) we did it for the destiny perks.
You may not think it affects people but it does as I was one of the people who eagerly entered their code just to find a message that it had magically already been redeemed.
Edit: So I guess the concensus is that if you can't legally obtain something it is perfectly fine to steal it. Great moral people here on the forums geez.
Also, the code is part of the product, the can is designed around it and advertised to include it. Yes you are also buying the code with the can because it benefits their sales by tapping into the destiny player base.

I destiny the collection. Never played. And the codes do not work. So if you expect players to pay twice, then you guys are the fools. If a code generator works then it is not stealing what I perfectly payed for in the beginning. Seriously, Destiny player

in 2018 the codes giant work I was waiting to play destiny either u should make new codes for 2018 or people will have use the code generator.People who are playing taken king for the first time what will they do if the codes don't work. They won't be able to complete the whole game without the expansions and if we buy the package from amazon or any other website or retailer they don't have new codes the old codes validity is gone .BUNGIE u should also upgrade the codes.

Edited by CCordell53: 9/15/2015 5:54:53 PMI would say the majority that used a code generator were from countries out of the US.
-
You could make up codes off the top of your head scrub
-
1 Reply@beasting caboose I got ripped off earlier. I bought a four pack and only two of the four cans were legit. I pretty much got robbed for my codes. :(
-
3 RepliesI bought a case and all my codes were shit. Now I have some gross cancer juice and nothing to show for it...
-
2 Repliesjust do what I did and take a photo of the tag, add it to the field in the help page here [url]http://energydrink-us.redbull.com/red-bull-quest[/url] and submit the redeem support request. after a couple of days the nice sugar-fuelled-RedBull people will send you a tasty new code that does work.
-
3 RepliesI had half a dozen cans fail because of these assholes.
-
What if you live out side the us and canada
-
1 ReplyWhats the link for the generator. From UK and can't buy the red bull with codes here
-
1 ReplyExcept if in Australia where we dont get the codes so hoist the skull and crossbones me scurvy sea dogs...Arrrrrrr Seriously, anyone got any codes? We don't get them down here...
-
Did you just think shit I'm in a bad mood today lets have a moan about something that doesn't effect me on the slightest because I'm a self righteous little bitch, clearly need to cut down on them drinks anyway the caffein making you a stroppy little girl and not to mention fat 😘

1 ReplyOp says "grow up" then cries about energy drinks and video game codes because he wants his happy meal toy.

4 RepliesRedbull = global brand Destiny = global brand Destiny + redbull = local promotion only Now, I'm not saying that it's right. I didn't use a code generator myself. However. I can totally understand why people are upset. And people who are upset make decisions according to a different set of morals. This was not a "store with bad security" this was more like a store that had an exclusionary admission policy... something that doesn't sit well with a lot of people. I just hope that the next time Bungie tries something like this they make sure to get a global roll out of the promotion. Then no one has any right to feel left out. Oh, and their "codes"? An utter joke
-
7 RepliesWhat about if I live in another country where they don't -blam!-ing sell it? Then what am I suppose to do. You think I feel bad because I didn't spend anything on some shitty redbull that I don't even like. Hell no.
-
Just use the generator yourself. This is the world. Oh well.
-
UK paid £40 for TTK US paid $40... £40 = $61 hmmm then proceed to provide a promotion only available in the U.S.
-
I used 2 codes that were gifted to me from another user. I took it as a sign of generosity but am sorry if they were thought up or generated. Either way it sucks that people are being ripped off.
-
I didn't ever had an issue with redeeming a code but I also was buying a couple a day the first week or so they came out
-
Im from australia. No red bull codes here. Anyone wanna give me one or link me a generator that works ;)
-
I'm with you. Bungie, give this man his due.

Edited by Sir Jecht: 9/15/2015 7:14:49 AMBecause 3 dollars for a code that might be used ready is morally correct. You're better off giving a homeless person your money Cuz you're not getting anything out of it. And giving money to the homeless is normally good so yeah.

16 RepliesYou technically purchase a Red Bull for the contents not the [b]free[/b] code that is included, so nobody stole anything from you. If you was to complain about something it should be the whole concept in general or on how bad red bull is for you in the first place. Generators appeared because the promotion was stupid! Destiny is a worldwide game, Codes are only available in the US...I'm sorry but it doesn't take a genius to see something like this was going to happen.
-
I genarated seven cause I live in Australia so go suck it
-
If a company wants to make a region locked promo for an international game, then they deserve what's coming to them. Lots of folk outside the US would probably have bought a code legitimately, but they didn't have that option.

2 RepliesRipped me and my friend off :/ why can't these 13 year Olds just buy some red bull
