Should the people who used the specific letter and number combinations without actually getting a code for the Red Bull/Destiny promo be banned? Post thoughts below on why or why not or whether it should be temporary or long term. From ShifticusGarell:
What if a player was given a stolen code during a giveaway, or someone chose to abuse the system by giving out real ones then reporting them stolen. There's too many variables to make this a viable means of punishment
This is an excellent point. Edit: For those asking, the way that red bull/Bungie can find out who used a code without buying the can is through the red bull cite. There is a way to submit a picture of your can and get your code back. They can then track the code through the Red Bull cite and then to the bungie profile it was linked to. I'm just talking out my ass but that would make since. edit: who bumped this old ass post

So long as nobody was harmed financially or their game wasn't messed up I don't see a problem. It sucks yes, but it's just simple trolling I assume. Edit: I couldn't see the link when I posted this comment originally so I assumed it was about all the red bull code giveaways on the forum being fake.
