Katana glitch
I've finally got past 1000 gs on halo 3 and when i checked my armor i had neither katana nor sercurity could someone help me? p.s also i recently got to spartan officer without getting the achievement my gamertag is sqicy chiqotles (yes those are q's not p's)

You do not NEED the original achievements to get the Katana, all you need is 49 out of 72 achievements and 1000 or higher in GS, I have helped about ten friends get their Katana this way.

I had same problem recently, you have to get the 49 original ones! : )

To keep the Katana, you need at least 49 achievements and more than 1,000 Gamerscore. If the Katana glitches away again, get another acheivement, and it will come back. It happened to me 3 times. Of course, most of the achievements you're gonna get are the original ones, so please, don't repeat "you need the original achievements".

either get all 49 original achievement or get some of the new mythic ones.Also have a GS higher then 1000.

that's werid cause i was helping my friend aelor141 with game and he got 985 points and got katana and it didnt glitch out and almost none of his achievements were the original halo 3 achievements.

Its possible to activate it with any 49 achievements, but the only solid way of keeping it is getting all of the original achievements.

for the kitana you have to get all 49 original achievements but they had an update so you might be able to get it with a few mythic achievements. The spartan officer achievement is your global rank not rank in one playlist. Your welcome.

Katana is for the original 49 achievements that give you 1000 GS, not the lame new ones that you can get on the mythic maps. You will get spartan officer when you have 50 exp on a single gametype. (possibly ranked) [Edited on 05.15.2009 9:12 PM PDT]
