Do You Use Kontrol Freeks or Scuf?
I'm curious to see how many people use Scufs or Kontrol Freeks. I just started using a pair of Kontrol Freeks, and man is it taking some getting used to.
Edit: If you use Kontrol Freeks, which version do you use? I have a pair of the Vortex and the Classic, but I'm using the Vortex at the moment. The left stick is smaller then the right stick.
Edit: I'm seeing a lot of people saying both. I apologize for not adding that option, I didn't think of it.

1 ReplyI tried the Kontrol Freaks, and the CQC were a god send. The shiite sticks on the PS4 control are an absolute joke. I now have a Scuf, and while I'm not totally used to the paddles, I definitely see how it can change your game. I think it's more relevant in other shooters, because I rarely feel the need to be doing something else while jumping that can't be accomplished after jumping. However, the control sticks on the Scuf are even better than KF. KF are a great inexpensive upgrade to the base controller.

1 ReplyI actually just use a standard PS4 controller, but I replaced the joysticks with the Xbox One sticks. So much better for precision in my opinion. Feels great.

Currently using a normal controller but planning to buy cinch controller as the button on the back seems more comfortable to me. Anyone here uses cinch that can give their reviews or opinion about it if it's worth it?

Playing an instrument is a skill, being good at a sport is a skill. Playing a game is a hobby people do for FUN. If you need to try to transcend the fact that you've dedicated 1000s of hours in virtual reality by using the word "skill" to attempt to feel superior to others, and justify the time spent, then you clearly have a chip on your shoulder. "Wah wah wah REAL MEN grip their controllers RAW!" If you could only see how sad you look from the perspective of people who don't anchor their sense of worth and value in game...

I bought a scuf back in cod ghosts Luckily i hated that game and my controller is still mint. That controller was made for destiny. Such smooth control scheme. I might get those control freak grips to make my scuf extra fat.

Saw some kontrol freaks at best buy for the thumb sticks so I bought. -blam!-ing terrible.

Nothing beats the squeak of the triggers and weird grinding sound the joy sticks make on my plain regular Xbox controller.

I just picked some up too. I got the cqc and the sniper. It took a few games to get used to but once you do they are great. I have my speed up to lvl 7 now.
