They changed him because a large portion of people were whining on here.

Edited by Cyndergate: 9/14/2015 11:54:18 AMI don't like nolanbot, voice cracks, whiny, and doesn't sound like a robot.
-
Dunno, they are both absolutely terrible. Both damn robots make me want to rip my ears off and eat them.

3 RepliesFrom what I understand, Dink had too many other obligations to come back for more recordings. However, I actually like Nolan North better. He makes the ghost sound alive. A Sentient being, rather than monotone. I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer Nolanbot.

nolan is trash he is a squeakerBot

1 ReplySave money on royalties and North is more available/cheaper.
-
1 ReplyDinklage has gotten quite a bit of prestige lately. I don't think he wanted to be a part of this anymore, now that he knows the quality of the script.
-
something about dinkle man being busy with hollywood and not being available when bungie needs him to do voice work. google destiny dinkle man, there is a article on it.
-
4 RepliesBecause he came up short
-
Nolan north was more available for recording than Peter dinklage
-
Three words: Game of Thrones. That's the long and short right there.
-
Wha i like the new ghost voice. To me dinklebot sucked because it sounded like he was just there. He gave no support to what we were doing. Nolandbot sounds more like an artificial intelligence kind of like a voiced R2D2.
-
Peter dinklage wasnt reliable enough according to bungie. He wasnt guaranteed to always be there when they needed him. For example he recently played in that new movie "Pixels." Nolan North on the other hand IS guaranteed to be there, and in my opinion he is a lot better than dinklebot.
-
He, most likely, recorded a ton of stuff. When the game story changed a bunch, much of it probably got left on the cutting room floor. At this point; his time, career, etc is becoming more full and he probably costs more. Nolan North, being predominately a voice actor for games / tv, is more accessible and probably within their price point for contract negotiations.
-
Dinklage probably played Destiny and was one of the disappointed players. Probably didn't want his name tied to it anymore ;)
-
Because his schedule was too busy doing Game of Thrones and whether that was through contract obligations (or just a lack of willingness to make time to voice act for the game) he was replaced by the more annoying and high pitched software update we now have
-
He is busy with other things. They couldn't get him back.
-
He was too busy with Game of Thrones and other projects so he left on his own.
-
Because people bitched about dinklebot and dinklage was too busy to do it.
