Well we know it was all true or at least, that part of it was true. Either this guy told truth, or he guessed part of it right.

This guy says Bungie cut it all out on a random Wednesday for the shits'n giggles.

No he doesn't - he talks of clashes of egos and creative differences. This matches up with what the Kotaku article said.
