Why are people in the crucible so -blam!-ing stupid?
This is a rant thread, so if "Sweet, he's ranting so I can be funny and say he's salty" pops into your head, don't bother posting.
Why are people in the crucible so -blam!-ing stupid? Match after match I get stuck with these absolute morons who don't even attempt to capture flags, or even defend them. I'm not talking about one or two people on my team. I have lost multiple matches in a row because my entire team goes full retard and gets triple capped, and I'm literally the only person who goes near a flag. What do they do? They pick a corner with a sniper rifle.
Just a few minutes ago, The enemy team had 3 flags nearly the entire match. Why? Because my team wanted to camp with sniper rifles, or just wander around aimlessly (sometimes right beside completely unguarded flags) and get killed on sight. Wanna know what's funny? The only person who actually did good on my team (aside from me) was a level 14. A -blam!-ing level 14 did better than 4 level 34s on my team. Really? If you suck that hard, please leave the crucible. You are literally ruining my gameplay experience because of how stupid you are.
Then there's the people who go full retard for the first 2/3 of the match and end up down by 10,000 points, but when the enemy team only needs 3-4k points to win, they go rambo mode and capture flag after flag. Why the hell do you wait nearly the entire match before deciding to capture flags? Is it so hard for you idiots to capture flags [i]before[/i] the enemy team gets such a massive lead on us? I don't get it. I have never witnessed such stupidity on any online game. Even call of duty players aren't this stupid.
Like I said, if you are so stupid that you are constantly causing your team to lose, please stop playing the crucible. I am asking you, not telling you. Of course the typical response is "I payed for the game, I can play it how I want." All I have to say is that I payed for it too, but I am unable to enjoy it because you are too stupid and simple minded to get more than 3 kills in a span of 10 minutes ultimately resulting in a massive loss. You are RUINING my experience because you somehow find it fun to go 2-17 every match and feed the enemy team points.

Completely understand. Had a match yesterday where I was doing PVP solo (a mistake in the first place) but was going for the "Earn a 1500 pesonal score and win". After about 4 absolute landslide losses it was finally starting to look up as we were ahead of the other team by roughly about 4k points in Control. As the game slowly progresses I notice that the other team is slowly starting to catch up & suddenly we lose all 3 control points for the remainder of the match and lose as the players on my team are apparently are all trying (and failing) to snipe the control points. I turned the game off after that.

I have a comparison to the straight thumbless carrot head that drag teams down in the crucible. Have you played search and destroy on CoD? Its all I played. If you have you also have spectated the worst CoD players on the game. The guys who move around like slugs with no reaction time and awareness to anything. The guy who sits across the map while the bomb is planted. Well, some of these crucible players are just as bad if not worse. Never have I seen people struggle to comprehend some of the simplest game modes known to FPS. If you can spend a full length game and hardly break 500 points... Just free up the spot on your team for someone with a working set of thumbs. I sometimes find myself reconsidering life like, we are humans how can one look like they're playing with their forehead? On a side note. #TTK HYPE

6 RepliesThe salt and tears are thick within this one.Group with some friends get a fire team going issue solved. If you feel you shouldn't have to have a fire team then stop complaining, because it's not going to go away. All you do is come of sounding like a whiney attention grubbing bitch. It's likely that a vast majority of players play to play, and careless about a K/D or being a try hard. Most people are playing it to relax and play casually, or they might be just learning how to play. Other people just want to shoot things and pick matches randomly, if it bothers that much go do something else. More new players are flooding this game tomorrow, so it will just be amplified.

Maybe they were trying to get their sniper kills for the Gunsmith ranking? Having to play a certain way just collect data for guns know bad sucks IMO.

1 ReplyThanks for the post! I could not agree more this drives me out of my mind. I am in the top 1% in Zones Neutralized and Zones Captured. I can't tell you how many games that I played this past weekend where I was just about the only one capping zones. When you are the only one trying to cap zones your K/D takes a severe beating because you have to take a lot more risks to do so. Particularly when the other team has players guarding the zones. If players don't want to capture zones than they should play Mayhem or Clash and get the hell out of Control.

I gave up trying to win playing solo a long time ago, loosen up and just mess around, its way more fun then to be the 1 try hard. Just joined a match of mayhem at 10000 - 3000... finished in first losing at 25k points... i laugh every time.

It's not just pvp. Go on lfg and find a random team of 5 with no requirements and no mics. Then try to raid. If you are playing with strangers don't play objective based pvp. Play clash not control.

They are protecting their precious k/d. My k/d isnt stellar, especially after the lag-fest last weekend. i play to win, not to boost my k/d.

I always have that problem. I think to myself why don't they just play clash. However with control it gives you a better description of where everyone is and where they'll spawn. The map on your left hand corner only covers so much ground. I still capture zones even with using the two crucible field test banshee weapons but they're plenty of other game modes.. Give them a try man

As long as there are test weapons floating around, people will camp to complete their tasks...I suggest you get used to it or change your mode of play.
