It's pretty much your fault. You bought the 8 Red Bulls knowing that there's a good chance that you're not able to redeem the codes.

No it's pretty much the dumbsh!ts that stole the codes fault...
-
No it's not. We are taking the smart free route. If you knew that buying codes might not work more so then not, then why waste your money? Now I never said we weren't taking the asshole route, but the smart free route. All humans are assholes sometimes anyways You want your money's worth? Go generate some codes
-
Not just sometimes, all the time. I don't really care that people use the generator because there are more important issues in the world that involve human greed. Honestly, I don't think there is a point in fussing about this stuff, because its not like anything will change. Humans never learn.
-
That's as stupid as blaming a woman for walking down a street knowing she might get -blam!-, then if it happens, it's her fault. You're an asshat.
-
No, those are two totally different things. He bought Red Bull cans for codes KNOWING that there's a chance that they won't work. Then he goes on the forums to complain about it. He should've used some common sense. This is the same thing as buying a lottery ticket and complaining about not winning any money.
-
Lottery--> not guaranteed Red bull code---> supposed to be guaranteed Terrible analogy
-
He knew that getting a code wasn't guaranteed. He knew that it was a gamble. It doesn't matter what it's supposed to be. Therefore, it's not a terrible analogy.
-
How's he supposed to know? Just cuz it's all over the forums doesn't mean people look at it. Can't believe people are trying to support this generator. If not support it at least tell people that it's their fault. Shame. Shame.
-
What do you mean how's he supposed to know? Everyone already knows about this. This has been known for months. I'm not supporting the generator at all.
-
You're naive to think everyone who plays destiny knows about the red bull code issues. Seriously, you think EVERYONE who plays Destiny, and buys a RedBull which gives you a bonus in-game, knows that the code won't work? Seriously. Shame. Shame.
-
I don't think everyone who plays Destiny knows this. I think everyone who browses the Destiny forum (like OP) knows about the Red Bull issue.
-
You would be a bad lawyer
-
Edited by brandong: 9/13/2015 7:38:00 AMYou compared digital codes to women getting -blam!-. Lmao.
-
When did i do that? You have me mistaken
-
Heh, someone else replied with that.
-
Y do you assume he knew and didn't find out till after?
-
Because everyone on these forums knows that Red Bull -blam!-ed up and you can generate codes.
-
I didn't know, I'm not always on the forum plus I don't read every single post. Just be a man about it and admit you are wrong. There's no shame in that, there is shame in protecting your ego at all cost.
-
I'm not wrong. OP obviously knew that you about the Red Bull issue. If he didn't, then he would've asked "why isn't my code working?" Look at the topic title for god's sake. He knew about the generator.

If you buy a laptop from the store, there's a chance the box is empty because someone stole it. You'll still buy the laptop because you need it, if the box is empty it's the fault of the thief for being a dbag and the vendor will replace your empty box with a full one. Lottery is gambling, wagering a small amount for certain risk for a slight chance at a large reward. No one gambles and complains they lost (only complains that they were stupid enough to gamble in the first place). Some gamble for the thrill or the chance of the high reward.
-
What he did was basically a gamble. He knew that there was a chance that the code wouldn't work. He took that chance and look at that, he lost the gamble.
