Awesome, the only part I disagree on is that the darkness is in the traveler, while I do think the Eliksni are trying to get whatever it is that they want back from the traveler, they are not part of the darkness and we already know that the darkness is at the edge of our system.

Yeah, looking back on this after TTK, I agree with that. Before, it was definitely up for debate, but with the Grimoire cards rewritten, it's pretty obvious now.
-
the eliksni want the traveller back because they think that we robbed it from them when it actually only runned away from the darkness it didnt runned away now because rasputin nuked it
-
Rasputin did not nuke the traveler. The traveler was damaged in the great wars. Yes the Eliksni attacked us because they think we stole the traveler, I said that. Maybe I wasn't clear enough but I did say that. Rasputin nuked the reef, he destroyed billions of humans to save humanity itself. When he did this, it created the awoken fro them being exposed, in the middle between the light and dark. The only thing with the traveler, is that we don't know what it's purpose is; it could be a jail, holding a great figure of the darkness, it could be the complete embodiment of light, it could be holding fallen tech that they want back, or it could be a vex technology. Whatever it is, only time will tell.

I thought that the Traveler released its light in a last ditch effort to push the Darkness back. The fleeing Humans were caught in the explosion where the Light met The Darkness. The Queen even says something along the lines of, "Starlight was my mother.....and my father was The Darkness.
-
No, Rasputin nuked the Reef to push back the darkness. The light was where she came from and the darkness is what she met.

I gotta disagree with you man.
-
If you want to disagree or argue, you should read the lore first.
-
I have read it all my friend. We seem to have interpreted differently.
-
On Destiny tracker all TTK grimoire came out. We were both wrong. It's a lot of information but pretty awesome.
-
Cool, thanks for letting me know. I have to catch up on all that after I beat the TTK story today.
-
Well then, what is the "depraved earth servitor?" Just curious about your opinion.
-
That's most likely the traveler. Fits the description, perhaps the traveler is evil, "Depraved Earth Servitor" Depraved: Morally Corrupt, Wicked. Earth Servitor: servitors are round and big, the traveler is as well and as big as some planets. If this is true, the traveler, is evil.
-
I always looked at "The Depraved Earth servitor as Rasputin" as the Baron's Ambition's description heavily implies it's him.
-
I think they are calling it depraved because they think we have done that to it. Meanwhile it's better off with us.
-
...it's not better with us than them, they think we stole her and are trying to get her back. They are more loyal to her than we are. The humans and the fallen misunderstand each other, in the long run I believe they will become allies. There is a lot of evidence for that currently in lore.
