Weapon testing in Crucible is retarded.
It's not fun, just frustrating and ruins everyone else's game.
What a stupid -blam!-ing idea Bungie.
Edit: referring to the fusion, which is great fun in Pve, sniper is horrible in Pvp. Easy to get kills, ruins everyone else's game.
And yes I don't play much PVP, just IB.
Edit: never said it was hard to do testing. In typical Forum fashion no one bothers to get the point of the post.
What I'm saying is this. Crucible is about teamwork trying to do your best to get your team a win. Not individuals going in with the sole purpose of getting gun rep and not caring about the match. Remember when the Thorn bounty was hot? How many people camped out and were just looking for void kills? Ruining games for players wanting a win? I did it myself and I always felt it went against the purpose of the game.
Bungie seems to actively encourage bad gameplay, this is another example of it. And no I don't think it's difficult to do, just retarded within the context of what Crucible is supposed to be about. Teamwork.
Edit2: most of you seem incapable of reading the OP.
It's not about the quality of the weapon, it's not about completing the testing.

So to all you trolls and teenagers who tried to call me out as a PVP scrub. Firstly I do NOT play very much PVP.

So just because you play like a bitch when you have a bounty to complete everyone must do the same? Sorry, but most crucible players just PLAY and complete their bounties/objectives as they happen. And the weapon testing objectives don't ask you to do anything that would disrupt "normal" play. All you need to do is get kills. It's not hard.

People can play how they want. If you want to win, go get a fireteam. Idc if some newbie wanted to shoot in a circle all game and chase those fish cubes on pantheon. It's his game too.

Seriously by the time the fusion has charged you are dead. I spent more time looking for ammo for the sniper than I did playing the game. I did it using only the sniper. The fun part is to use only the weapon you are testing. In one game this warlock just kept on killing me. I guess he caught on to the fact that I was testing and he just chased me all over the map with a shot gun. His kd must have been about 50.0. Good for him. You don't have to test them if you don't want to. I for one will continue to watch my kd go through the floor lol. If you want to be on a winning team every match then go in with a team. I will be waiting with my test weapon to wreck you.

4 RepliesOur group only plays PvE. Bungie should make all items available through both pve and pvp. That way everybody can do whatever they like most. Now we just team up, start pvp and ruin the game for others. It feels wrond but we all just want to finish pvp shit as quick as possible.

If you want team focus, make a fireteam. Crucible with randoms isn't serious business, and field testing weapons in crucible is an amazing idea. It let's people use weapons they may not have used before.

Your post is just dumb, and I comprehend all you're saying. If it's that big of an issue, then use the weapons in Rumble...no team play required. I like the spin they added with the weapon testing in Crucible. Also, it's a choice not a requirement to earn Rep for Arms Day.

I actually like them other then the fusion rifle. I somehow became a better sniper with the omolan sniper. Can't wait till tues!!

Weapon testing adds to some new guns being fired in crucible and allow people to see "is this gun good for me in pvp?"
