In a battle to the death.. Which is impossible, because neither one can truly die, so the battle will go on literally forever, but here is my question, general populace of the Gaming subforum; who would tend to come out on top? Talion & The Bright Master Aka: The Gravewalker (Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) Info;
Talion's abilities, on their own, amounts to basically little more than standard swordplay. He is an apt dodger, and fighter, able to hold his own against almost any amount of Uruk-hai. However, his real advantage lies in the power of his wraith; The Bright Master. With the Bright Master's help, he can see into the unseen world, conjure a bow from thin-air, make most any fire source explode, and move at lightning-fast speeds. Not to mention his ability to teleport over seemingly any distance, use his enemies' life force to summon more arrows, and even control the minds of beasts, and lesser foes. However, he is not invincible, and is still hurt by blades, and arrows, like any mortal. When he dies, he is reborn at the nearest Forge Tower about half a day later. If separated from The Bright Master he will instantaneously die permanently, as his throat suddenly gets slit, from the wound that first killed him.
Bearer of the Curse Aka: The Chosen Undead (Dark Souls I and/or Dark Souls II) Info;
The Chosen Undead's background is dependent on class, but they can range anywhere from a highly trained knight, to a random wanderer. They are incredibly resourceful, possessing the ability to repair, buff, or even switch their weapon mid-combat. These weapons can range from a small broken shortsword, to massive clubs, and greatswords, too big for a normal human to lift, implying a sort of super strength. They also hold the ability to command fire, and lightning spells, in addition to soul-made weapons, far sharper than any physical blade, all of these launchable at high speed. They have an ability to dodge far greater than Talion's, and often don't even need to, with their ability to wield massive Greatshields. Clearly they are very talented in most if not all forms of offensive, and defensive abilities, that would at least put up a good fight against Talion's supernatural abilities, if not matching or beating them. They also have the ability to heal mid-combat with an Estus Flask, among other things, and apply elemental abilities to their weapons. However their weakness lies in their fragility, as while the beating they throw out is massive, the beating they can take.. Not so much. Still, a well-trained Chosen Undead doesn't get hit. When he dies he is reborn instantaneously at the nearest Bonfire. If he loses all hope, then he will go Hollow, making him more or less brainless, thus technical perma-death.
Edit; to those saying the Chosen Undead doesn't stand a chance; By the time Talion could draw his bow, and unleash a flurry of arrows, the Chosen Undead has a huge array of spells, that Talion would have to lower his bow to dodge. And if they got up close Talion's weaponry can't compare to that of the Chosen Undead's. Not saying the CU would win, but be sure to not underestimate him, as most people tend to see him as under powered.

    I chose the CU, simply because of the crazy types of monsters he's fought. Sure Talion seems to have an edge ability wise, but so does almost every significant boss the CU fights. This is a guy who can beat the Knight Artorias, a giant wolf with a sword (Sif), Manus the planeswalker, etc. Fighting things with more outrageous abilities than himself is his specialty. Most of Talion's enemies are little more than the hollows wandering the undead burg. I'd like to see him get hit by a CSS or a Resonant Soul and feel Wrath of the Gods when he gets too close, or see him take on Manus, Four Kings, or another Souls boss.
I am also biased because I think Dark Souls > SoM.
